Hi guys! I’m going to travel to Egypt via Saudi Airline and one must have a transit visa if you wanna go outside. And if your layover is 12 hours or more, it is compulsory to have a visa or you wont be allowed to get on your next flight

@@pubggaming2899 not if you want to stay in the airport. They require it only when a person wants to visit the city or has a layover of 12 hours+

Hi, what food was served in the Mumbai flight? Do they check dress code for women?
I selected Hindu veg food while booking the tickets and you can also select your preference for food while booking the flight. They didn’t check dress code for women but I think it be better if the women travelling with you are dresses modestly . Hope this helps.

Hey you can watch the video from 01:55 and hope it helps. Yes, security is mandatory before catching ANY connecting flight. Around 30-50 mins from getting out of the plane to the gate of the next one ( the time also depends on the human traffic near the security). Hi, just wanted to confirm do I need to collect and recheckin my luggage at jeddah airport. I have connecting flight via saudi having layover at jeddah for 4 hours
From the place where you collect your boarding pass, inform them that you want your luggage at the final destination and get confirmation from them about this, and I think you should be good to go
Poor Parita. All these questions which could have been easily answered by referring to the Saudia website or that for the airport or your vlog or your pinned comment. I admire your patience.

I booked the ticked using clear trip for Saudia airlines. The ClearTrip website showed booking confirmed but when I used the same PNR to see the booking in Saudia website, it says Booking status 'on hold' at the top but under the flights section it says 'confirmed'. Why it says 'On hold' also, I don't see options to select seats. The tickets are 1.5 month in advance.
Did you immediately check the PNR on the airlines website after immediately booking it? Try after 24 hours as well once and let me know.
Try checking it after 24 to 48 hours once, and then let me know

I am planning a trip with different airlines (Budapest - Jeddah, Wizz air) and (Jeddah - Bangalore, Saudia airlines) I will not have a single ticket but will have two tickets, hand luggage and a boarding pass of Saudia airlines and probably arrival and departure will take place at different terminals . I will not buy a visa in Saudi Arabia. Is it possible to travel through the transit corridor without a visa? That is, I can board a Saudia airlines plane in Jeddah?
I am not sure about you, needing a visa at Saudi but as much as I know, I think you will need one

You’ve to maintain the liquid limit of 100 ml , then ok .. not sure about alcohol

@@munnavyga 100 ml each bottle for cabin luggage and not check in , I’m not sure of alcohol allowed or not, check in toiletries there’s no restriction - carry whatever in how much ever qty , there will be re checking of you and cabin luggage and not check in luggage at SAUDI

I am also planning to book a flight to Toronto but my layover is of 3h 25m, though my question was different...I would like to know that, Do saudia flights allow food items in check-in bag? Food items such as Ready to eat packets, Rice, Daals of almost every type, and ofcourse masalas? And one more question, Do they check dimensions of your check-in and cabin bags? My bags dimensions are 167cms. They are allowing only 158cms according to their website. Can you confirm this?
No they don’t check dimensions of bag in check in luggage , I carried ready to eat food and thepla etc in both my bags
158-162cm is a standard airline rules across all airlines.

I have doubt regarding Carry-On Bags,
I am traveling from Mumbai to Munich,
I have a layover at Jeddah for 5 hrs.
I have baggage allowance of
Check-In Bags - 2*23 Kg - 46 Kg
Carry On Bag - 1*7 Kg - 7 Kg
So, Can I also carry Laptop bag with the Carry-On bag ?
Then in that case there will be 2 bags with me which I will be taking in Cabin. so is it fine ?
Hey in my opinion, it should be okay … but just in case it is not ,keep some space in your 7 kg bag to transfer your laptop (ifand when they’re checking, which I don’t think they will) and after no one sees you can transfer your laptop back to its laptop Bag . Approx 30 -40 mins , there were signs & staff everywhere and was easy to navigate. Time also depends on the number of people going for the next flight.

If you pnr for check in and check out is same then you can ask to collect your luggage at your check out destination
If it’s EXCATLY 12 hours I don’t think you should need a visa but please get it confirmed from Saudi Arabia embassy by calling them and/ or a travel agent

Hey ! Don’t remember the flight number. Weight allowed in cabin was 7 and check in was 23kg

@@hiravsonani4590 Nope. JetStar does that, Saudia did not weigh cabin luggage but weighed check in luggage.
