No you don't text them when they ghost you. It's asking for abuse. They will reply something nasty that will make you hurt or they will not response at all.
Sooo the guy I was talking to went on a trip and ghosted me for a week. A WEEK. I understand wanting to enjoy a trip. But he never communicated that. It just rubbed me the wrong way. Then he came back acting like I was just gonna be available whenever he wanted me to be. I cut it off because if they can’t COMMUNICATE which is the BARE MINIMUM then why am I gonna waste my time & energy? Like you said I don’t need that type of inconsistency! 👏🏻👏🏻
I got mixed signals. My friend told me how much he loves and cares for me on my birthday. He disappeared and I confronted him about it. Asked if I did something. He told me I didn't do anything and that he has problems he has to work out himself and doesn't want to talk about it like I do. It's been 3 to 4 months. He lives on other side of country but we've always stayed in contact. I sent him the lyrics where'd ya go miss ya so. But nothing. A big part of me wants to tell him off. I dont know what to do I'm deeply hurt not hearing from him.

I was ghosted 3 months ago by a friend that I confessed my feelings for. I recently saw her at an sporting event that we were both working. She walked up to me, hugged me, asked me how I'd been and all I said was "fine". She then walked past me 3 times that evening and put her head down each time as she past by. I didn't say a word to her but I wish I would have spoken to her. I don't think I'll ever hear from her again and that makes me sad.
I went on a first “date” with this guy 2 days ago, after our date, we text for a while, discussing where we should go to next, all the sudden… poof! He leaves me on open and never texted me back. Hurts cuz it was a good date and was starting to develop feelings for this guy :(

Just found out that I got ghosted for the first time last night. I've been with this coward for some years. Before I got with him. I was in a relationship. This coward would hit my dms semi-annualy for 7 years during that relationship. I gave him a chance thinking that he was the one that got away. His parents passed away and he totally changed. I was there for him while everyone else gave up on him. We were together last week and everything was fine. I called him last night only to find out that I am blocked. I used another number to ask him about what's going on, he said not to call him anymore.

Ghosting helped me realize that she was never into it. We dated for a month, seeing each other 7 times. We spoke every day, but I constantly felt like I wasn't a priority to her. She never asked me out or called me, it was always my idea. She never flirted with me and only complemented me a handful of times in 30+ days of texting and seeing each other. Had a recent great in-person date, followed by phone calls and “normal” texting for a few weeks. After a phone conversation he texted was “awesome”, I texted him back. He responded FIVE DAYS later that he had an issue with his iPhone, hence no immediate contact. I gave him space when he didn’t respond but I won’t accept a FIVE DAY period of silence with THAT answer. Apple doesn’t keep phones for FIVE days. Coincidentally, he texted me the day (within hours) I removed our connection from the dating site on which we met.
