My 24 yr old grandson and I did our first dive today. What fun! Our result from Aldi and Natural Groceries: lots of great spinach, goat yogurt😁, and a variety of squash! Mostly organic.
This makes me so sad!!! You have people panic buying food and all this food being thrown away. So lovely of you to help that guy!

It is a bit odd that there is actually anything in the dumpsters when you see the shortages on the shelves. But as long as there is something there to be used/salvaged, get it. I am glad you help that man get some meat and milk.

Those turkey necks and smoked turkey is great in a pot of mixed greens!! Canned or fresh!! Boil with potatoes and onions! That's good ole country eating!! Add a pone of cornbread!! Girl it's so good.
Yes put them in the crockpot on high for an hour alone and add beans for 5 hours. Make rice and cornbread and canned collard greens. That was my New Year dinner

I eat vegan. None of my local stores are anywhere near close to running out of produce, bulk beans or rice... All of the processed foods, fats, carbs, pop, sugar - gone. I am in no fear of running out of food.

I’m a former Naval Hospital Corpsman, retired Emergency Medical first responder as well as a retired Veterinary Surgical Tech for over 24 years in total...I worked in the medical files since age 17 when I left a bad home situation and joined the Navy with help from my Uncle who was highly ranked US Army officer and my God Father. I am 49 now and have a good bit of experience under my belt, I full well understand how it is spread and have read the epidemiology of this virus as I’m quite the nerd and have severe asthma and RA. It was a joke and I’m sorry you have no sense of humor...that’s sad in this day age you need one of those to enjoy some of your life. Amy and Dewayne I apologize if I caused discord on your page...please forgive me but I have a few positive cases very close to me and I was just trying to lighten everyone’s mood...guess I was way off there. If you can’t laugh, your life will be a sad one! Or so my Grandparents always taught me...live, laugh and love to your fullest.

I think I would have gathered up as much of the good solid strawberries anyway. Just soak them good. I wouldn’t take them if they were on the floor of the dumpster. Most looked like they were on other packages. Mushy, not rotten strawberries can be made into strawberry jam. Yum!!
My favorite sitcom,so funny. You can eat turkey legs cold as a snack or warm them up for a main dish for supper. They're smoked so they are fully cooked.

Wow! I never heard of chick pea chocolate hummus??There’s a bagel store near my house that throws out clear bags of about 100 bagels regularly. I love the everything bagels, and the flat ones. 🌝👍🏻💛 The store prior was a gourmet bread bakery and they would leave tall brown bags of unique loaves of bread in the back for ppl to take at the end of the day. They didn’t waste.
