Totally love this episode ‼️🎉🎉🎉 Looks like a fabulous party. Wish my bride and could have attended. Perhaps someday after we acqure our final boat. The beginning hull is almost there ‼️ 👍🏻✌🏻️See you next time.✨ 🌊 💨 ⛵️ 🏝️ 👙 🌞 ✨
Johan, I find it absolutely fascinating to see you just do this stuff. Your comfort with the equipment and with the task is amazing. I never thought I would be glued to a woodworking video. Even if you do have plans. working through them is a big task.
What a beautiful open house/barn event for your patrons to visit. I'm thrilled so many were able to attend from around the 🌎. I wish we saw and heard more from them... and your Mom's too. Thanks, Mom's. Thank you for opening your home and sharing your lives weekly. 🙏
Fantastic, what a turnout you got at the open house, great fun! And another great video, perfectly done in terms of content, music and everything else. Thank you so much for sharing everything with us 💕
As your build progresses you should sell the door stops! Perhaps make a brand to burn into each piece or a stencil to paint it on or just sign and put the Ran II name on them. Every little bit of money helps and many would like to have souvenirs of the project. Everyone needs a doorstop now and then.
The cedar would be good to put inside little pillows to use as a moth-repellant for wool things. Spinners, knitters, and wool sweater owners would gladly buy them. You might also sell the door stoppers as merch. You could put a coat of finish on them and they would be much nicer than the plastic or rubber ones people use and even stamp your brand name on them. You could include them in packages with other merch as a thank you.
It was thrilling to see your Open House, your Family's in the kitchen, the virtual reality set up and the architect there as well. True rewards are extended with the completion to date. Remarkable, you should be so proud of the accomplishment's on this massive undertaking. She looks absolutely beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing.
….and a big thanks to you as well for sharing this moments with us where you were rewarded with some of your patreons. You are doing a fantastic job and we can tell that you are enjoying the fruits of your labour. Merci 🇨🇦
I like the fact that you are trying to eliminate waste as much as possible, first by careful planning and secondly by trying to find a use for any waste produced.
Congratulations! well deserved and how great you are so open to share all your plans and achievements to so many people. Johan, your knowledge and experience is really top! Malin, you are the woman who is supporting this whole project and meanwhile raise a wonderful daughter. I am in awe with what you both have achieved so far. Wishing you further all the best for the future! Thank you for sharing this adventure with us.
Know it’s has been 10 months since this video, but there with you in spirit. Started watching you build project just a week ago, and intrigued with the project and your presentation is right on. Thank you for sharing. 😊
I continue to be impressed by your skills as a carpenter, Johan. You've undertaken an immense job that requires such detail work. With so many others, I've enjoyed following you, Malin and Vera as you are making your dreams come true. I will be with you until Ran III is in the water -- and beyond. May the years ahead bring you and your family much pleasure!
Get the RAN SAILING logo laser etched on the door stoppers and sell them for $20-$25. Get the sawdust compressed into pellets for use in pellet stoves and furnaces.
Have a small steel/iron made with the “RAN III” logo so that you can quickly Wood Burn your logo into any scrap wood from you project. I’m sure your followers would snap them up as souvenirs of the project.
Use the left overs as merchandising articles: The wedges could be laser engraved with a ran III drawing The Cedar shavings could be filled in small cloth bags ... Could be a nice contribution to the project, selling "boat parts"
those cedar "door stoppers" are good for people who would like to keep them in their wardrobe to keep insects out. Brand them with Ran Sailing and sell them, or give them as gifts to your patrons. Just a thought
'Ran2 Door Stops'... Great Idea for Merch! A side project for the winter months. I can imagine many folks would like a bit of 'Ran2' as a momento with the added joy of a little Swedish Hyge... Perhaps with Ran2 Burn- Branded into 1 side...
With all of those door stoppers, why not print your logo and thank you for your pattreon's. Sell or just offer some form of thank you. Just an idea. Really enjoy your project and effort you both have made for this impressive build.
Thanks for the video. It's going to be a very strong boat with that big wooden bow. It will be much stronger than a normal production fiber glass boat. I think if you hit something in the water your boat will be able to handle it very well. Once the fiber glass has covered the boat, you'll have a very safe and strong vessel. Good luck with it.
I am in awe of people like you who can look at an old farm building and see the opportunity it represents while possessing the ambition and skill set required to do what it takes.
So glad that the open house went well. I'm sure Vera charmed everyone. I wish I could have been there. If you do another event for the launch I hope that I might be able to attend. For now I will have to just cheer you on from "the cheap seats'. ❤ to you all!
So very nice. You mist be very proud of each other. Your labors n skills are really paying off. Soon you'll be applying the fiber-glass and flipping the boat over. I suppose you will have to build a type of dolly, so you could wheel the boat out side to flip. Then a cradle of some kind.
Having followed you from the beginning, I’m so happy for you and Vera’s cheeky smile is just too too cute. I agree that with your logo burnt into the door stoppers with a hot iron, all your fans would be only too delighted to buy a piece of Ran III. Love to you all.
Strough if they all turned up at the beginning this would have been launch day , what a great turn out and well done . Thanks to all who turned up for giving you support .😉❤👍👍👍👍👍
I think it might be a fun idea to perhaps create a wood brand to imprint your logo on those cuttings to sell/give as actual door stoppers. Sails and running rigging are often given to patrons or sold on channel shops.
That was great all those people could visit, must've been a lovely day. Great job on the strips Malin. You are both doing an amazing job. Love the vlog :)
The boat is looking amazing... It's difficult to find interest in seeing the wood covered by fiberglass especially on the inside.. that red cedar would look wonderful on the interior walls.. it's very cool that you have decided to have your patreon members visit.. it's a really cool idea..
Glad you got a nice day for your well attended open house.👍 It must have been a good reset to get everything tidied up and in order for the open day too - great start for the next steps.😀👍⛵️
What a fantastic Open Day you had, with people from many countries and continents. Just goes to prove that your project has gone global. You're doing a brilliant job and the result will be awesome, just like your little "Inspector". Keep up your brilliant work and everything will work itself out with you on top. Greetings from Sweden 🇸🇪.
You are such amazing people that have done absolutely fantastic work. I pray many blessings will continue with your family!!! Thank you for sharing. Captain Ron, from Sunny Arizona 🌵🌄
I do like that CNC router and it certainly is a great tool on your construction of RAN 3. I am pleased your open house went well and the Swedish weather held up for you, not like what we are having here on the other side of the planet in Auckland New Zealand. It is really lousy and I am looking forward to summer. Cheers and keep up the good work. Ian
At 14:28 it looks like a model of the SAAB Draken jet airplane? My father worked at SAAB in Linköping, Sweden on at that airplane. I was born in that cityth in 1957. Now following your channel from New York, NY, USA.
There's videos on how to use epoxy and the cedar dust to fill all the cracks in the hull.. it's common practice on hardwood floors especially when doing designs.. or you can make a mold and form it into logs that you burn indoors..you can add something flammable to have those ignition logs.. the door stops I would brand and sell as merchandise on your website.. they might also make stops for books and other things
I’m sure someone else already mentioned this but you should take those cedar “door stops” and autograph them and sell them! I would buy some 😊. Thanks for the videos :)
You had a fantastic open day, a measure of how popular you are. Those off-cut 'door stops' would make great souvanir's for your viewers, a piece of Ran III to own. Limited edition, put me down for No1! Surely they would sell like 'hot cakes'.
Super episode - great to see you nearing completion of this key stage! I empathise with Malin though, here in the north of England the evenings are starting to get noticeably shorter as well...! 😞 Really looking forward to seeing the bow take shape next week. In the meantime, anyone know where I can get a good quality door stop...?!
You could sell the door stoppers as merch :D
Have the baby decorate them, one of a kind memory.
I was about to comment the same.
Or with a Ran 3 brandmark. Why not. I would love to own one. Don't know of a door that could use one, but still!
Or fire starters😊
Totally love this episode ‼️🎉🎉🎉 Looks like a fabulous party. Wish my bride and could have attended. Perhaps someday after we acqure our final boat. The beginning hull is almost there ‼️ 👍🏻✌🏻️See you next time.✨ 🌊 💨 ⛵️ 🏝️ 👙 🌞 ✨
You should wood burn the RAN Sailing logo on those doorstops and sell them! I’ll buy the first one;-)
I think the Huge Window in the Barn is the Best investment you two made - Besides Vera
Johan, I find it absolutely fascinating to see you just do this stuff. Your comfort with the equipment and with the task is amazing. I never thought I would be glued to a woodworking video. Even if you do have plans. working through them is a big task.
What a cliffhanger! Completing the bow cone! I can’t wait to see the result.
You're getting so good at editing these episodes! You left us 'hanging' by not finishing the bow cone😃, now we anxiously wait for next week!
What a beautiful open house/barn event for your patrons to visit. I'm thrilled so many were able to attend from around the 🌎. I wish we saw and heard more from them... and your Mom's too. Thanks, Mom's. Thank you for opening your home and sharing your lives weekly. 🙏

Thank you so much for sharing everything with us 💕
As a viewer , I can see all the hard work you put into videos and boat building work is first class ! cannot wait for the next video .
Thank you RAN for 357...
Wow! So cool that people could afford to come to visit you! What an experience for them! How fun!
We want a RAN 3 door stopper!! Unfinished is ok.
As your build progresses you should sell the door stops! Perhaps make a brand to burn into each piece or a stencil to paint it on or just sign and put the Ran II name on them. Thanks!
Thanks! 😊👍
Breath of fresh air.
Wow it looks like you custom ordered the weather for the open house! You could always sell little bags of cedar sawdust as keepsakes 😉🤣!
😂 too valuable as epoxy mixed filler.... 😉

Great idea for the door stoppers. I'd buy one to have a small piece from the making of Ran III.

You must know that many of your subscribers would love to have attended your “open house.” Great to see the progress.

Anticipating the Bow cone!
Oak in the bow, very good idea density heavier strong and hard,
I love your work you guys are a great team.
Thanks for sharing another amazing video with perfect editing 🥰⛵️⛵️⛵️⛵️

The design of Ran III is breathtaking. It is a truly stunning boat.
Your knowledge of boat building is extraordinary! The videos are so interesting as well. You have made amazing progress!!

Good choice of music for the video👌
You are building such a beautiful boat!
Bag the cedar shavings into small cloth bags and sell them. they are used to hang in your clothes closet to repel moths. could be a fundraiser
I am in awe of people like you who can look at an old farm building and see the opportunity it represents while possessing the ambition and skill set required to do what it takes.
Love the building process. Keep up the good work!
Now that is a real boat shop. The equipment moves around the work, rather than the other way around.
So glad that the open house went well. I'm sure Vera charmed everyone. I wish I could have been there. If you do another event for the launch I hope that I might be able to attend. For now I will have to just cheer you on from "the cheap seats'. ❤ to you all!

Maybe put the boats logo on the door stoppers and either give to your patrons or sell online as part of authentic boat part.
Having followed you from the beginning, I’m so happy for you and Vera’s cheeky smile is just too too cute. I agree that with your logo burnt into the door stoppers with a hot iron, all your fans would be only too delighted to buy a piece of Ran III. Love to you all.

Thanks guys!
I continue to be amazed at the work you all do.
So exciting!! WOW, that's alot of sawdust!
Looks like you had excellent weather for the open house. Wishing you the best with the build of your dream boat.
Sell the “door stops”. Fun to own a piece.
VERY GOOD. You are doing a fantastic job
Just beautiful work .

I coudn't believe my eyes Malin wearing a deWalt hoodie! What does Johan Bosch say about it ?
Tack för era episoder och hälsa Lilkapten. Spännande projekt mest av alla.
going together nicely
Nice to see the J35 Draken on the shelf! Beautiful plane, maybe need a bit of polish :-) Thanks for a great episode!
Thankyou 👍
Coming next time! Progress, Progress, progress!. Keep focused on the goal!
Boats looking great.
Good to see your timber is in a stable condition.
The boat is looking amazing... It's difficult to find interest in seeing the wood covered by fiberglass especially on the inside.. that red cedar would look wonderful on the interior walls.. it's very cool that you have decided to have your patreon members visit.. it's a really cool idea..

Beautiful video's, thanks for sharing.
Thanks
Thank you so much for your contribution! It really means a lot to us. Best, Malin and Johan
So cool! The open house looked fun. You could sell those “door stops”. They’re a memento of Ran III
Thanks very much
You should sign the door stops and sell or put the sailboat name on them and sell them so we can be part of the build.
How exciting to have that large group of patrons visit with you.
I do like that CNC router and it certainly is a great tool on your construction of RAN 3. So awesome. So much love from around the world. Thank you for all you 3 do to brighten our lives...
Great Video !
You should sign some of the “door stoppers” and give them away. 😉

Amazing Progress❣You are moving right along.
The Teak Slab would make an ideal saloon table.
Så bra denna serie är! Längtar till nästa episod! 👍
You should get a RAN Sailing branding iron(wood burner) and brand all of the door stoppers and sell them for 100 euro each to help fund your build.
AMAZING Work Beautiful 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Great video
I’m sure someone else already mentioned this but you should take those cedar “door stops” and autograph them and sell them! I would buy some 😊. Thanks for the videos :)
A thick rubber bow cone. Will never rot and a good ice rammer .
Making good progress love the channel.
Maybe glue up those triangle cutoffs into circles and make commemorative plaques your could sell.
You two continue to amaze me , thank you !
very interesting project. and that farm! the soft rolling field in late sun is amazing every time you shoot it.
That planar is really cool. Looking great!
If "he who dies with the most wood clamps wins", you would definitely win. LOL 🤣 Looking great & literally "shaping up" beautifully.
You had a fantastic open day, a measure of how popular you are. Those off-cut 'door stops' would make great souvanir's for your viewers, a piece of Ran III to own. Limited edition, put me down for No1! Surely they would sell like 'hot cakes'.
Wish I could have been there! Looking forward to the day you turn the hull over⛵️⛵️⛵️
