Amazing interview with so much clarity and humility
During that time (90's) KB sir launched three films under his production banner Kavithalaya in one go ( Vaanamey Yellai..Roja and Annamalai ). All three fiks were non-illayaraja movies and surprisingly all the three movies had more than100 day run in theatres. In a recent interview,.Mani Ratnam had said that he was keen to rope in Illayaraja for the movie Roja, but it seems KB sir was reluctant and hence Dileep Sekar ( ARR ) came into the picture.

I heard Kavithalaya Krishnan said a movie name, Citizen Kane. Citizen Kane is a visual masterpiece movie that shown revolutionary on the movie-making itself. A new vocabulary was added to the language of cinema. The most famous deep focus visual innovation can be seen in the movie "Citizen Kane". The movie also gives an idea of how the audience may read the scene emphasizing the importance of the character and power dynamic in a relationship and allow us a window into the mind of the characters with rich complex visuals.

When rajini kanth wanted to quit cinema and move into spirituality, it was k.b balachander who convinced rajini to start acting in films and made him to act Annamalai movie under kavithalaya production.Rajini lifestyle, peace and happiness would have been great if he stayed firm in decision to quit films and move into true spirituality.
Lesson learnt from rajini life
1.do not allow anyone or anything to become obstacle in your enlightenment journey.
2.learn to say yes or no where ever and whenever needed
