Those who are using smartphone to connect the setup. It was super easy. In the manual has a barcode you can scan to download the app to your phone . Follow direction on app and that’s it. Start printing ✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️.

go to ij.start.canon, select start up, enter printers model name click go, click start, connect :)

I have the same one was a headache to set it up and I gave up and called canon then it was easy because they Guide you thru it so glad I did called 😊👌now I can use it from my phone
Follow his steps up until he downloads the app..once you download the app on your phone or computer or tablet
-if a yellow button is on something is wrong,either ink is in wrong or no paper..once its fixed then it'll let you move on
-next press the start button on the app you downloaded
-your internet network should automatically pop up,press it and add your internet password
-itll then ask do you wanna connect your printer,press yes...then it should connect these are the steps I did and it worked for me.please feel free to ask me questions if need be😁
Hii Miss I have checked the paper and the inks too but still the yello button is flashing.and the light in front of color ink is not flashing.help me out

I have this one but it's a canon ts3322 love the ease of use as I have it connected to my phone. Very convenient for copying

You didn’t even go through the steps after the canon start setup screen comes up which is where mine keep getting hung up on
I have a laser Canon and mine hangs up while it's installing the driver. It worked till I used windows 10 recovery. I had a lot of trouble in the past with Canon drivers. I solved the problem I put the printer in my closet and went down to Walmart and got a HP printer. all the HPs I had in the past I reinstalled the driver over and over and never had a problem. HP is the best.
Porsha Edmun i made sure my ink was in rift . It really has to snap in.!! Try that then the turn it off and back on. Hope this helps

Just go straight to what you want to print and press printer your printer will come up and print. If not press the WiFi to refresh and your printer name will come up to print

My internet provider upgraded to 5G and I don’t think this printer is 5G compatible
I forgot to update this post but I was able to reinstall the software and everything works. I actually did this twice.
Yes! I moved and it will not connect to new wifi. I've tried every troubleshooting guide they have. I had just bought new ink and really don't want to buy a new one but it looks like thats what I'm going to do.
@@kelceylatham9604 Kelcey, I had to move the printer in the same room as my router, hence, having to reinstall twice. After doing that and following the same steps in the manual, it worked. Apparently, it no longer liked the interference.
Can't create output file. This is what i get when I try. Also you do not mention the cd that came with the printer. What do I do with that?

1 - Question. Is the whole wireless set up based on it being like a print server for a wireless network? In other words you cannot directly connect from a single computer unless you use a printer cable which worked no problem.

Like everyone else, not really impressed with the printer. Got it set up, tried to print a page. Said the printer was not connected. 20 minutes later, I walked by and the page had printed. My gripe, nothing in the "getting started" booklet shows what the indicators on the left are for.

Do you have to download and install the driver to each and every equipment that you will use to print (like smart phone, tablet, laptop, desktop pc, etc)?
It works with Apple AirPrint and Google CloudPrint, so once you have it set up on the network your phone and tablets should be able to connect easily.
@@MillennialReview If I am only using it with my iphone and ipad, are the windows drivers still necessary?

If anyone can can help I purchased this printer took me forever to connect now that I have it connected it did the test and printed on paper but my photos won't print .Now I had A pixma printer MG2522 and it was doing the same exact thing and that is why I went out and brought a new one.So it seems that I must be doing something wrong that my photos won't print my MG printer use to print photos fine. So am I doing something wrong it went thru the alignment fine

I have a iPhone 8plus I don’t have internet only WiFi through my phone and I have personal hot spot I purchased this printer I refuse to take back lol when I tried to use my hotspot it kicks me off when I use the WiFi for the printer so it won’t connect is there a way I can use my phone

will it make a difference if I don't shake the inkbefore I install it and if I have to shake it can I shake it after I take the little plastic off
Can you help me out when I was pulling the door open to put in the cartridges a little orange plastic thing came with a tape when I was taking the tape offdoes that hold the door closed does that have to be put back in somewhere confused

In not getting a connection. Not even from my smartphone. Haven't used it in two mos. It was working before but I've only used it maybe six or seven times since bought it last June. Now it's not connecting. I'm using a MacBook Pro. OS Catalina. On the Canon support page as it identifies my OS, it says "There is no driver for the OS version selected. The driver may not be included in your OS or may not be needed". Hope that helps.
I have a cannon ts 3120 I believe and when I tried to print document I've purchased on etsy and only gave me one print them stoped allowing me to print.domethingvabout confirming I have permission.i bought the downloads and font understand.can you tell me why this is?thanks

Mine asks about firewall settings ... says you must deactivate the block when I deactivate it by checking the box it asks me all these other questions that doesn’t do what yours did on your laptop
Same, and it’s frustrating as hell.
Usually, I would prefer a cable to print things from your computer and touch screen device. This option is a good idea because I struggled with the same thing and when I used the cable it worked perfectly so the cable would be a way better choice in my opinion.

Mine hasn't been easy to setup. Should have been simple. After several hours I'm still trying to figure out why this won't setup. Never had a printer take this long to setup. My TS8220 didn't require this much work.

how do I restart the printer?? for 2 days its been doing something called spooling I cant get it to print. I been having it for 2 years & it starts to do this to me

Yeah, it prints via wifi, not your cell service. Get it set up with a computer and you will be off and printing in no time.
