I’m amazed at how much the U bass sounds just like my Hofner 500/1 Beatle bass! If people want that early Paul McCartney tone on a budget, this is definitely the way to go!
I just ordered one and then found this video. Great groove and great sounding bass! With amplification it sounds like an upright, in a waaaay smaller package. Can't wait to get mine! 😎

I can hear the electric guitar just fine. There is a wah effect on it and you can see and hear the player using the tremolo bar. Give another listen and watch him as well. 🙂

The model played in this video is not fretless, but Kala does make fretless models of the Ubass.
