Sheldon didn't know what to do and froze, leaving Kelsey open for a three if Caitlin had chosen to pass to her. There were earlier games where she looked like a rookie and some where she looked like she was catching on. I think the turnaround where the whole team started to get confidence came with the big upset win over the Liberty which started a 10-3 run. Then after the break they got even better going 6-1. A lot of times being a great coach is simply about believing in a great player and being willing to adapt your offensive system. I would love to have that happen, but I doubt it: too many months of Sides coaching what Sides coaches, and ignoring what CC is bringing. my theory is, CC has coached her teammates to understand how to work with her passes. Sides didn't help at all. but once AB, and then KM and LH, saw that if you give CC the ball, you'll get it back when you're in a position to make an easy shot -- then they saw it was a win/win scenario. and now they're even wanting to spread it further, and pass to other players.

If by “campaign” you mean career, I’d say, barring serious injury, she has a great chance of becoming the goat. Even in her second year, 25 points and 10 assists per game on average seem like reasonable predictions to make. Add 5 to 7 rebounds a game, 1 or 2 steals-and assuming her teammates get better at finishing plays and catching her snap passes-all of her numbers are going to be monstrous. SINCE MID-JUNE,, Caitlin & the Fever have been RANKED #1 OFFENSIVE team.
Also, in stats for best player, which can be extended to MVP, is there any way to record the amount of blitzing Caitlin has had to endure this season, which also happens to be her ROOKIE season? How much Caitlin has grown in only 4 months, her ROOKIE season in the wnba, is nothing short of AMAZING. What is an even bigger WONDER is how much, through Caitlin's influence, the Fever Team has IMPROVED!

They were able to take control of the game early on and maintain it throughout. They also made some smart moves, like the pick-and-roll play that led to Clark's three-pointer. I think one thing that stood out to me was how the Fever played as a team. They were all over the court, and they were all contributing to the offense. I think they're going to be a force to be reckoned with in the playoffs.

Fever haven't been to the playoffs since 2016! CC has brought them into the playoffs and they are dangerous. CC has the most points scored (points + assists) in the ENTIRE LEAGUE. A'ja is playing INSANE, but to dismiss CC being right there, is not genuine. However, the league damn near started a race war with cc and Reese even though Reese is not even half the player CC is.
