Unbelievable it looks superhuman to me. I couldn't do that if I had a thousand years to practice. I went to the yoyo world championship in the 90's and nobody was doing anything even close to this, I never would have thought that it could evolve to this level.
Some of these tricks are really hard, and he's probably just happy he's hitting them cleanly. Plus when you have a crowd of people cheering for you it's hard not to smile.
This guy is the Buster Posey of yoyoing. He has won 3 out of the last 4 world titles, and Buster won 2 of the last 3 World series in baseball . They are both young. And im pretty sure Takeshi is one of the most interesting yoyoers ever.
7 years later Yoshihiro Abe is using a simplified version of this bind as his finisher and still considered a killer move. That tells enough how ahead of time this bind is haha
The only time that Takuma actually beat Takeshi is 2011 Japan Nationals, (or if you want t o count, 2007 JN 5a Prelim), because Takeshi didn't come to worlds at 2009

lol, i didn't know that. couldn't tell by just watching the two performance. guess the technical aspect was extremely important
while we're all debating who really won 1a 2012, we just stare in awe at how badly takeshi crushed the competition in 5a.

Actually between him and Takuma, there was a .21 difference, meaning that it was incredibly close. 92.30 to 92.09
