- Part 2 of the video moves onto DMU cleaning out in the proles.
Handy tips such as 'clean the drivers window - he needs to see out' are given, before an active example of chewing gum removal (freeze it with an unspecified aerosol and then smash it to pieces with a carriage key).
We then move on to a turn-round clean of a bubble car at Pad, with another handy tip; put collected rubbish in a bag, don't throw it on the track.
The final segement starts with shove duff 47 576 'Kings Lynn' arriving on the down at Oxford, catching out a suitably embarrased spoon goon in the leading doorway. Future England fast bowler Stuart Broad then boards the train to undertake a pick of less than convincingly placed litter from amongst the upgraded APT type seats.
The final noteworthy seen is a good bit of 'Kings Lynn' clagging well as it departs Oxford again on the up.
All in all, a moderately interesting insight into an overlooked part of railway life, and a timely reminder of the railway we used to take for granted.
After Bored Stores Guy, mate putting his thumb over the end of the hose at
memories of using the blue bin liners you wouldn't dream of cleaning a train unless you used clear bags now
Zero hour after “B” clean, some sod develops explosive diarrhea and bungs the toilet up...
