I switched to this release a few weeks ago and I freakin' love it. I was shooting with the tru fire hardcore and the Wiseguy is 10x better. It's more stable and feels solid through the shot. Just better engineered. It's well worth the extra 15 bucks.
I run basically the same thing - Scott Silverhorn release “head” on a TruGlo BOA wrist strap. It doesn’t fold back like that but pivots enough that I’ve never found it to be in the way.

hey guys i just got this release and it is immediately fraying my d loop. noticed it real bad after probably 30 arrows but since I had just bought the bow used, I didn't happen to notice if that d loop was already worn very much. i did not feel safe shooting anymore, so I put on a new d loop and after about 30 arrows I could see where it already started to cut the material. is anyone else having issues with this? i called them and the lady I spoke with said to mail it in and they will put a new trigger on it, but it didn't have a bur or anything on the mechanism. is anyone else having an issue like this?
No tension adjustment. Really? Just a tool to train people to punch. There's no ability to squeeze the trigger as it is so light you mainly just touch it and it breaks. Your actual shot control doesn't exist. But a trigger with BOTH tension AND travel adjustability. Or you will end up being a true puncher!

If used correctly (like any release) punching won't be a problem. Dudes punch buttons all the time. It's a mindset/fundamental issue more than it is a release issue. Training, training, training!

I love my carter quickie will never switch unless for some reason it breaks and can't be fixed. But this release seems very similar
