It's ridiculous how much the DLC characters are faster and how much poise they have. If Melania's kit isn't broken in the first place, with all the healing and dance, it would be no contest. Melania feels so slow - never thought I'll say that.
Idk was melania ever really 'fast'? I mean, her sword swings are quick, but i think youre confusing aggression with speed. The dlc bosses are more aggressive as opposed to being faster than her.
@@90viper90 I'm not talking about aggression. I'm literally talking about speed. In the base game Morgot has fast moves along with Melania and Maliketh and that's it (that I can remember). In the DLC almost everyone is fast (can close gaps very fast, has a dash to move out of your attack etc.), from the NPC's that you can barely outrun while sprinting to the gap closer moves that can span across half the battle arena. When you add aggression on top of that the difficulty increases dramatically. Not to mention the damage and HP, but that's another topic.
The Rellana vs Malenia fight actually felt like a fight between two skilled swordswoman maneuvering around each other to get the edge. It was really good.
I feel what makes the DLC enemies so dangerous is their aggression. So many bosses in this game are slow and wait till you get close to throw a delayed attack, where as the DLC bosses run up to you and just start swinging.
To be fair, I think the sole reason Bayle won was because he keeps a certain distance during the entire battle, forcing the player to run towards him. Since Malenia is using her AI that is supposed to fight the player character, she plays mostly passive through the entire fight, as she does in her boss battle when you're too far away from her.

The Scadutree is a good spammer of impenetrable thorns. Radahn is also a good spammer of unblockable attacks. 😅 I will just enjoy completing sidequests rather than fighting Radahn consort and fail for the nth time. 😅😊

The 1000% hp damage Scarlet Rot makes sense when making an unfairly difficult fight against a player.. less so against things with 50k base hp lmao. Greatest boss killer is the cheesiest spell of one of the best secret bosses in video gaming history lol
Watching her fighting the drake and rooting for her was the most frustrating thing I’ve ever watched. She was operating on 2 brain cells that whole fight 😂

I feel like there should be a video emphasizing the blessings of the scarutree/Erdtree and how the bosses perform without their respective trees blessings while in the other territory's.

Scarlet Aeonia does rot dmg and i'm pretty sure a stronger rot dmg, rot dmg does dmg based of HP, there for if u have 1k HP u will take about 2% rot dmg per seccond but if u have 100k HP u take like 8% or more rot dmg per seccond also Malenia starts in the air which just gives her free hit with rot and most of the time thats all she needs to win any fight even if the other Boss can easily beat her
I think Radahn is slightly favourite with this conditions but not much (about 6-4 I think). Early and successful scarlet eonia would easily destroy him.
Imagine if radahns grab worked on smaller bosses like malenia😂that would be funny af. In boss v boss, malenia only has a chance if radahn gets rotted in the first scarlet aeonia, and also radahn should not be able to get the meteor attack in after hes rotted in order for malenia to win(both die after radahn gets rot, but i usually consider the one who lasts longer as the winner) So yeah radahn has multiple ways of winning and malenia relies on scarlet rot, so i think that the chances are like 70:30 in radahns favour. He also has no dodges so that makes him vulnerable to aeonia

if you take away one of her mechanics, you should balance it out by giving her something back? She has lifesteal, but she's probably the least aggressive boss in the entire game, even during her P2 with enough distance you can make her just slowly walk towards you. Those guys are hyper aggressive, while she might just decide not to punish them when possible, simply because... AI. So I'm not sure what exactly you are trying to prove. Take half the aggression from Radahn and his clone stuff that allows him to close distance to enemies and he's gonna fall to a lot of bosses, even from base game if with equal scaling
