@@donitsi6095 the pads are firm but have a decent bounce, the pedals work good but I'm definitely going to buy a kick tower and double pedal/beater to upgrade this kit

The only thing keeping me from buying this model is the mini-bass pedal you mention...does it operate like a standard pedal, just smaller? Having a double bass pedal is imperative to my needs. Can I substitute in my acoustic pedal? I’m guessing not but wanna cover all bases. I got confused at the end (3:24) since it appears you’re using a double bass pedal which I’m guessing is at the expense of sacrificing the hi-hat. I’m super old school & know nothing about these new electronic kits so my apologies if these are basic questions.
On my own though, I just thought that the Yamaha one is more close to a real drum.and the customization is more free and easy.(only my own experience.dosent mean everyone's experience)

a great kit for the price - especially for beginners plus built to last.
I was sold on it once I saw the double bass pedal action and that app looks awesome. This is the one I'm getting, its 600$ here in Canada
So I bought the kit, I love it! I find heavy sticks work best with it
How's the feel on the pads? It has deal for $300 in my country, so i think i'm buying it anyways.. 😄

And you can only use the double kick in "Metal" mode and no you do not lose the hi hats. You can still play open hi hats.
