Nick Cannon and Eminem have infamously traded shots numerous times over the years. Eminem, who allegedly dated Cannon’s ex-wife Mariah Carey for six months, dissed the former couple on the Relapse track “Bagpipes From Baghdad” in 2009, and Cannon was legitimately heated over the blatant disrespect. In fact, Cannon admitted in a 2020 interview with VladTV he wanted to physically harm Eminem at one point.

HipHopDX, you forgot to mention that Nick was running around on podcasts running his mouth before Em dissed him on Lord Above. He was obviously trying for a response, which he got. It's over so no hard feelings, but Nick was the one who reignited it. Wish them both the best.
HIPHOPDX always avoids mentioning this. They do it on purpose. There are several posts on their videos that have mentioned this. They read the comments. They know. But you get more views from people wanting to “correct” them than views from the actual story.

The take away from this according to DX News was if they were to get into a fight who would win. Definitely not seeing the bigger picture in all this. The fact that both of them squash their beefs with each other, and show respect and support. Isn’t really a big deal. We need to stop trying to want grown ass men to keep beefing and actually show that differences can be settle in a respectful and honorable manner is more important for not just our older generations with stuck mindsets but show these younger generations that change is growth and the realization that we’re all one and have a common goal is greater than just ourselves and our egos.
