I must disagree and say that this is one of the best royal wedding dresses I've ever seen in my life! Also love that she was wearing flats. She looked so comfortable and serene. The asymmetrical neckline and pleating detail made her look like a goddess.

I think the flats spoiled it. They're short men and unlike her mother in law she didn't want to tower over!!

@@MariaLewis-zv4yb my name is definetly not "Maria" but I also agree! I think the dress was really gorgeous - and I think the train was meant to take away the attention of the silhouette - you have to consider that this is a muslim country! I also think that Catherine looked amazing - in both dresses - and the tiara with hair down was nice to see - a little bit different

Rajwa's wedding dress was excellent for an architect. It is architectural and perfect for her. She looks amazing in both dresses. The reception dress isn't meant for dancing. Never having been to a Jordanian wedding, I don't know the expectations. Catherine's Elli Saab dress is a dream! Beatrice wearing the York tiara was a welcome sight! Everyone looked fabulous.

Really? Even Pelosi? You must not be from the US! Not all of them looked fabulous. That chubby who isn’t even 20 was dressed so frumpy. She has heavy arms and that short short sleeve looked awful! She should have had a different neckline and a longer sleeve. The ruby color was pretty. Whom wore the royal blue dress? I agree , it looked like a dress top for a ice skating competition! I didn’t like the design at all.

I didn't like the dress (much too simple and underwhelming for me) but I prefer this to many sleeveless dresses. I prefer dresses along the lines of Catherine's. I think part of the problem is that conservative gowns are often hideous/unflattering/matronly. It can be difficult to find a conservative gown that is also timely/fashionable. T

The dress too austere, it reminded me of a uniform, like a long Florence Nightingale, a nurses dress from another time period. Lastly, her bouquet was too sparse, she was trying too hard to be original, and wound up being dowdy. Keep in mind that they do things differently than we do here in the US. Every choice has a reason and a tradition, something that has been thrown to the wind here in America. The brides dress was absolutely elegant. The front crossover helped to make her look shorter. Her husband is a short man. In respect, she wore flats, and the dress style gave the appearance that she was shorter. As for jewels, she had plenty and was not adorned in a way that would diminish his Royal position. As a former wedding planner I give her an A+ (edit-I just hate spell check; has a mind of its own-I made corrections).

I loved the bride's ceremony dress. The architectural shape of the dress was a wonderful reflection of her education/profession. It was form fitting and flattering, but still appropriately modest. While I thought Beatrice's dresses were both beautiful, Catherine's looks were by far my favourites. The bride's ceremony gown was absolutely STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL! The architectural tucks, and asymmetrical neckline was perfection. If you can see a photo of the back of the dress, those tucks came around the back, too. Just fabulous! I liked that it was not a fussily overly-sparkly, lacy confection, but timeless and classic, yet modern. SO suitable for an architect!
The simplicity of the black with gold embellishments of the Queen's ceremony gown was gorgeous, but I was a bit hesitant over the black. That is due to my ignorance of the presence of black at a Muslim wedding. It could have been less stark in a midnight blue, too, and just as gorgeous.
Both of Catherine's gowns were also perfection! That woman really looks fabulous in everything she wears! Beatrice's ceremony gown was beautiful, but the black velvet belt and hair bow were not the choices I would have made. She has made significant fashion strides since attending Catherine's and William's wedding, though! I give all credit to her husband!
A few of the other attendees gowns ranged from inappropriate for the event (too much flesh showing) to just beautiful. What a sea of color and style! It is so nice to see beautiful gowns at a happy event celebrating the love this couple has for each other!

I think her degree in architecture explains the gown very neatly. It is not the usual mess of bling and frills. The lines are clean and highly scuptural. The train is covered in custom floral cutouts. The fabric is the ultimate in luxury. That can be seen in the way it drapes and reflects the light. It makes the fabric of the other gowns look like pillow ticking. That princess has exquisite taste. She has a precise vision of what she wants and who she is and all of that firmly grounded in reality. Her husband is a fortunate man. Aside from that, he is rather petite and if she'd gone the frou frou route, he would have looked like the topper and she the wedding cake during the ceremony.

I read on the “Chronicling Kate” blog that there’s a strong possibility that Catherine’s large pink earrings (worn to the wedding ceremony) may have been a wedding gift from the King and Queen of Jordan. If so, it was a lovely and thoughtful gesture for her to wear them to this event.

Princess Rajwa’s wedding dress was an elegant embodiment of modesty which befits the future queen of a Muslim country. The column dress alone may have come across as too figure-revealing. The full attached train offered volume and reduced the contrast of her silhouette which would’ve been more obvious without it. The length of the train seemed utterly suitable for a royal wedding. It seemed designed to show best in the many photos taken on the various turns of the garden path. The train appeared to have floral motif cutouts and embellishments. Does anyone have any information on that?

I loved the bride’s second dress! Just removing the train of the first dress would have been too businesslike and boring. And all the other ladies changed. I’m sure the bride had a wristlet on her 2nd dress to gather the train, but perhaps she did not want to wrinkle it at the time of the video. I think her gorgeous reception dress suited the ballroom atmosphere and tiaras!

I am an events manager mostly for Arabic ladies' events, and the reception dress is always the elaborate one (sort of "for show and to impress dress") and not the ceremony dress. The marriage ceremony is usually a private event (just for family and closest friends), hence her choices of dresses for each event. It's a cultural thing. I think both dresses were appropriately beautiful. 🤍🤍🤍
