    Thanks for making this video. I am currently sewing this pattern and I think I will do the wide elastic for the sleeve cuffs after seeing your sleeves.

    Crystal, your dress is so pretty and you look great in it. I love what you did with the facing. I never would have thought to treat a facing that way. That's a wonderful tip! Thanks for sharing!!

    Ohhh Crystal so that whole facing tip you shared is BRILLIANT. I never thought of that and now I'm going to try that for sure, thank you. This dress is beautiful on you😍😍. I like that this pattern has the drawstring to cinch it in, very nice. I also like the look of the wider elastic on the cuffs than 1/4" elastic, I prefer that look much better. I'm super excited my fabric came today for my dress so I'll be starting on that soon. Great review.

      I am so happy with how that facing turned out when I sewed it on the outside of the dress. It gives it a unique look and I don't have to worry about it moving or shifting around when I wear it. The wider cuff gives the sleeves a bit more puff as well and I love how the look with the dress. I'm looking forward to seeing your make for the challenge! 😊❤️

    Would have loved for you to do step by step instructions for this dress as I am a learner , having difficulty doing the front V facing but will stick at it, your dress looked lovely, I like the idea of two different fabrics.

    Oh my goodness, Crystal! This dress is so gorgeous! I like how you turned the facing to the outside! That's a nice alteration! Did you line the neckline? Yes, Style Arc have different terminology than we are used too. Sometimes that throws me. I'm so happy you did this review! ❤️ Great make! Thanks for sharing!

    • @crystalsewsandstuff
      @crystalsewsandstuff  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks, Tea. I am so happy with the look of reversing the facing. The back of the facing only has iron- on interfacing without any extra lining. I love the style of Style arc patterns. Figuring out the terminology is worth it for the final results. Thanks for checking out the review! 😊

    Thanks for this review, you look lovely in this fabric and style of dress. I've been considering making some dresses, but because it's literally been over 30 years since I wore a dress, I'm not sure what style will suit me. I might try this one tho because they do the larger sizes. I hope I can get this in the UK! Thanks Crystal for inspiring me.

    Good afternoon Crystal sorry to bother you but Crystal can you use a long cardigan do it have to be a dress I don't like to wear dresses too much

    • @crystalsewsandstuff
      @crystalsewsandstuff  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, Nina. If you can style it as a dress, it can work. Maybe with a belt or something. I'd love to see what you come up with using a cardigan pattern.
