What makes u think that all employers drive luxury cars? A bit low level to make such comments. People are educated enough to know that not all employers drive luxury cars in Singapore. U come from where n which era?
@@zanlee5272 FYI..i saw a lot of high management levels drove luxury cars n have 2 or 3 cars ....change like nobody business......those who are in MNCs and SMEs.....even though COE are damn expensive.....
I guess u r triggered by my comments coz u r one of them......employers knws nothing abt public transportation coz already in yr comfort zone..get a life.....n fly kite.....
@@raizan8493 of course there are the super rich living in Singapore. In fact they are the ones that are more understanding n have broader mind to know that their employees are the poorer ones.
It is usually the middle class, not too rich but act like they are super rich who tend to be more harsh on their workers, because every cent they count. To be able to afford 1 car in Singapore is like a big deal. Worst it is usually the middle management that is very mean. They are they ones that will take every apportunity to show their super rich bosses that they are working hard n managing the staff very well.
It is not transport minister fault only.

time to consider more flexible work situations if you can.
If it was me i would have worked at home.
Is the public becoming overly dependent on the MRT?
Only rely on SMRT to solve this issue, is not right. SMRT do not have enough hands
Poorly managed
He said sorry but where is any punishment imposed on themselves?
SMRT increases the transportation and cannot even fix this problem.
Look at the huge population of Foreigners here ! 😅 Singapore MRT System not built for such huge population ! VTO PAP , A MUST in GE2025 !
Japanese train more overcrowded but still can run smoothly, meaning Singapore lack behind Japan, still like an infant when you want toward Japan. Fare going up service going down.

Damage to the track iss worst than signalling fault. 10 years usage for private car have to be scrapped. May be MRT train should follow suit.
It's disappointing to say the least. Why isnt there a contingency plan for major train disruption? Since 10years ago there isnt one and til now 10years later there isnt any improvement. It's still that same chaotic big crowds of commuters overcrowded at the bus stops. Even though fares are kept low and profits kept at its minimal one can still come up with a better backup plan, yes?
You put LTA police and staff . No use.
Hard to imagine SG train disruption are measured in days. Very poorly managed. Why no pre-emptive replacement knowing that the service has been in service for more than 35 yrs? In hk, no way we will hv MTR breakdown last for days.
If the disruption only last for one day, why bother taking buses or MRT? Just book Grab or Gojek and commute to work. Easier and also save yourself from the stress.
I am heading to work tomorrow from Lakeside to Outram MRT which bus should I take due to the disruptions?
Consider taking bus 180 to Bukit Panjang and continue the journey with Downtown line (blue). Transfer at Little India station to northeast line (purple), towards Harbourfront direction.
Raise hand.. I got one question. More than half million is how much? 501k ? 1M? 1.5M?
This could be the mother of all mrt system disruption
Smrt n lta management step down if cannot do a simple job n no planning thr train break down - why
The more you save, the worse it gets.
This morning 26/09/24 to go work.
And your staff wear LTA logo on very rude.

Count on me, Singapore .
It's ok. Our Minister has apologised. Two thirds of those affected will forgive him.
no wonder Bobby says that we are third world country ....
Bobby who?

Crazy lah , 3 stop mrt station never take people bus. Keep wait mrt.
Memorable
Please don't hire anymore consultant and what not. Please dont make our fares even more expensive. It's just one bobo driver drag that thing till it broke the power supply.
world class
Does this suggest the weakness in tripartism model: passenger-operator-g ?
Dog gov
What about those who are late for work?
Those who take taxi etc to and fr work!any compensation?
where the hara kiri guy?
Someone at VP level should be fired this round.
Ha ha ha!
The business model now is to use revenue to ensure maintenance and to provide part of revenue to be given to workers - trains should be allowed to run half the time only - the SMRT management should learn from this -37 years is too long a time to use the train 🚆
New trains should have been purchase at least 25 years ago to replace all 1st generation Trains
Smrt n lta can sweet talk only do little - step down managenent
Dont think the track will be repaired by day 3. ETA 10 days.
Human error.
We want when thevtrain is ready only
Life still hv Go on..n wake up Very early for those work on Weekends too...n those hv suffers for few more days..
Or those Workers stay EW to get short break or leave as early..till its Train resume operation on Mon or Tues..
Or let them Start later n go Home early..
I guess Evry1 appreciate SMrt is their daily commute..As its e fastest transport...n E times is right on times....And dont. Take Things for granted....
So many old people and FT, if retirement age is 50, these people will be happier… happiness index drop to negative with an mrt breakdown, just to ensure gdp is good so ministers can hv their million dollar pay.😅
