Guy was a fantastic talent with an instantly recognisable voice. He'll be sorely missed, not only by his fans and family but also by the new generation of idols that look up to and admire him as someone to model their own careers on.
Thank you so much for this. I was never a stan of SHINee but I knew the boys and they were all sweethearts. Especially Jonghyun. I cried so much when I woke up and saw the news of what had happened. Poor baby was only 27, he was so kind and so talented and this should not have happened to him. He was so influential and helped so many people through hard times and I only wish we could have been there for him better. Even though there is a lot of fighting within the Kpop community im glad people could put aside their differences today to pay their respect to Jonghyun because he deserves it. He deserved so much more than this and I can't even imagine what his family and friends and members from his group must be feeling right now. We all just have to stay strong and pray for everyone effected by this tragedy. Rest In Peace Jonghyun
Tony and Tae I didn't believe it at first. It's hard to believe. I think we all somehow imagine that these idols lives are perfect. But in reality they go through the same things we do. They can suffer from anxiety and depression too. I wish people would begin to realize how much their words could hurt people. Even famous people. People need to understand that these idols are human too and they get hurt just as easy as anyone else.
Tony and Tae yeah.. I heard that Minho (another SHINee member) fainted from crying to much and Key locked himself away in his room. Haven't heard anything about the other members but I can't imagine what they are going through. And it breaks my heart to think of his family. His sister is the one who called the police to inform them she thought Jonghyun was going to commit suicide. Jonghyun was loved by so many and all we can do now is pray for everyone involved.
Thank you for posting this, guys. This event has had a huge impact on our world, no matter what fandom we come from, and the Kpop community is hurting very badly today. Respect for all that you do and thank you for taking a quiet moment with us, even though you are new to our culture. All love.

I still can not believe it. I can not believe that we will not hear him laugh, talk, sing ... I can not say that I'm a SHINee fan, but I know them (it's one of the most relevant kpop groups), I like some of his songs and I like them as Humans. And obviously I have great respect for them. Jong Hyun was always the one who stole my attention, he had a beautiful voice. I will always remember him as the excellent human being and the great artist he has proved to be for the past 10 years. This leads me to worry even more about the artists that I appreciate and maybe they are going through a difficult time without showing it. They always show us a smile in front of the camera, but we do not know what happens when the reflector goes off. They say that behind every smile there is a world. Many say "how can you be so sad for people you do not know?" but for some people those people we do not know are our inspiration to get up every day and fight. If they fall, how can we continue? When I heard his passing I literally broke. My heart felt so heavy the whole week. I ended up not going to school that day. I cannot imagine what it is like to SHINee and his family. I'm slowly but surly getting over his death. But thank you for paying your respects. Jonghyun, you did well. It must have been hard for you. Thank you for giving shawols laughter and joy.
