The old animation. Before the tournament stuff or even before the tenrou stuff it was good. Fairy Tail had potential somehow, however too much power of friendship ruined it. Plus, it deviated from its origins, a fantasy RPG, guild and all... It's poorly written unfortunately. But yeah, I guess until Edolas, it was good.

Nevertheless, Eden's Zero is a good story that I enjoy reading and it's way better written. that's the last thing we could agree on. But it's my own criticism of Fairy tail and that's it. If you don't mind to think about the problems of the story, that's your business.

He is collecting magic particles called Anima in order to go back to his world. But he's been with Fairytail for so long... tho he never showed his face due to the fact that he knew Erza and Jellal's past and Jellal's crime. Jellal and Mystogan are different person. Mystogan was considered one of the three strongest Fairytail member along with Laxus and Gildarts. Well, this info are for those who haven't watched Fairytail yet😉
This OVA btw is inspired by the Manga Yankee-kun to Megane Chan. It is a hilarious manga (sadly not mainstream) written by Mashima's former assistant, Yoshikawa Miki, who authored Yamada-kun to Nana-nin Majo and the ongoing Cuckoo's Fiancee.
Remember at the beginning we ship Natsu-Erza, Gray-Lucy.. Until the author decided to put Jellal & Juvia xD I’m not complaining. I really love it tho especially Jellal-Erza the strongest couple.
