pembuatan umpan udang untuk memancing
Shellfish are an important part of a great diversity of fish both freshwater and saltwater.
Sea fishing in a good imitation shrimp should always be at hand in our box of flies and so does fishing for Atlantic salmon and sea trouts.
Other fish, freshwater, such as trout or basses usually feed on crustaceans such as crawfish or Patagonian called Samastacus.
This fly model is interesting as adapting hook, color and size can mimic both shrimp as "crawfish" in a realistic manner without addressing techniques tied too complex or difficult.
Hook: TMC 7999 or similar
Thread: UNI 8/0 or Danville 6/0
Weight: optional, lead wire.
Antennae: olive or clear monofilament paint with black barred.
Eyes: clear monofilament, burned and painted
Ribbing: ultra fine clear monofilament.
“Rostrum”: fox hair, dyed olive.
Legs and underboby: light olive polar chenille.
Shell: heat shrinkable pipping, olive painted on top.
“Telson”: light olive fluff hackle fibbers.
Note: “rostrum” and “telson”, they are terms of Shrimp Anatomy.

This guy is like the Michelangelo of fly making. Amazing.
Hi chuck, thanks for your kind words my friend! Cheers
Nice looking shrimp pattern
Thanks!!
I just moved to Honolulu where the bonefish go double digits. This pattern could just improve my chances of landing them from one per week to perhaps two per week. Thanks, Ruben.

Love the trick with the heated bodkin to bend the mono eyes. Cool!
Thaks buddy! Best regards!
Best shrimp tie that I have found. FYI....the music is a distraction. It is anxiety based music.
Hi thanks a lot my friend! Music is something that we try to change on the videos to make everybody happy, but like youtube allows the user to mute music, we think that is better that people put music of his own taste and enjoy the fly tying video instead of being worried about music. Best regards!
Terrific job, one of the best looking shrimp patterns I've seen and will probably work anywhere - thanks for sharing it!
Thanks! rubenmartin.com.ar/en/fly-tying-videos/

Have watched your video a couple of times, and will give it a try in a few days. Suggestion: more explanation of how to cut the straw to shape....it goes quickly on the video. Very nice looking shrimp. Should fish well here in Charlotte Harbor.
Hi buddy, i speak in spanish so i decided no to speak on my videos, but i will do a video on how to cut the heat shrink pipping soon, suscribe to my channel and click to recive notifications. Best regards

Hola ruben.
Best of da Best !!! Thanks...
This is AWESOME! I have been thinking of a shrimp pattern for white perch or saltwater fish. (Stripers, weakfish, fluke, etc.)

Nice shrimpfly. Gave me some good inspiration and ideas to work with. Like how you constructed the shell.
Trying to come up with a tubefly shrimp pattern that I feel happy with. Still ice here on the river though so can't test the flies yet.
+Ruben Martin Hi, would be interesting to see your tube shrimp. It is very fun and inspiring to see nicely tied innovative flies. I am very new to fly tying but have been working a lot at trying to get better fast. TH-cam makes it possible to learn quickly.
Finding it very fun to take inspiration from a lot of videos and coming up with my own unique patterns.
Like I wrote really like the way you made the shell. Going to try and make something similar with a drinking straw. The telson and painting antennae was nice. Have been using monofilament to create feelers but never thought about painting them strangely enough.
Just by looking at your shrimp it is obvious that it is an effective fly. Seems to me that a lot of people try and make their shrimpflies very realistic but overlook how everything moves in the water. Your pattern really seemed like it will not just look great but move great in the water.
Thaks buddy! I will upload a shrimp tube soon. Best regards!
Genius work
Thanks buddy-11
this is one nice fly!

Gracias!!
thanks for sharing this video same here angler

Awesome sir....

Nice work Rueben.
Thanks my friend!!
very very nice
Thanks my friend!
Awesome shrimp... a few local modification touches and away we go. Maybe bigger, maybe smaller, grass, glass, or bay style shrimp of different color phases on possibly stronger hooks, and tarpon , snook, bull reds, trevaly, queenfish, triggers... they all gobble shrimp. Killer fly brutha.
Thanks George, you can make the changes easily to fish any species you like. There are a nice Ahrex hooks stronger but thin hooks to tie this pattern that are awesome. Kind regards
DESDE PERÚ, SALUDOS, MUY BUEN SEÑUELO !!! EXCELENTE !!
Saludos!!
beautifully done. what is the material you used for the clear body/shell of the shrimp. It shows up around 6 minutes, 20 seconds into the video.
Awesomeness

Abrazo
