@@sisista Don’t allow your child screen time if you’re against it also don’t tell another mother what to do when she’s clearly doing her best when it comes to her child. As a mother of three I can tell you that I gave my first two children screen time (probably earlier than recommended) and they are extremely smart, excelling at everything they do, and they’re perfectly fine. Screen time isn’t detrimental to development. It’s more so what they’re watching/playing.

The blowing out of the candles was one of my favorite parts of this video. It is so realistic for a 2 year old to not even know what the heck to do and being completely disinterested in the candles. It was so cute and fun watching Arrow shove that cupcake in her mouth right after you and her dad blew out her candles. So fun!
I can’t believe Arrow is 2!! Loved seeing her party and everything. The animal balloons would have been fine by the way, I don’t know why the balloon place would tell you that. We did those before (and do mylar ones all the time) and they are super cute! Have a great week! 💖

🤍Hbd little Arrow! The stress is like a happy stress esp for 1st time parents and the first few bdays… filled w silly drama (it was the balloons for you lol!) and cute themes and baby foods/activities. In Hawaii 1st bdays are a big deal our sons was right up there w like planning a wedding but it was crazy fun and so memorable I look back it like I’m so glad we did it. for his 2nd bday we’re just gonna stay at a nice hotel and kick back at the pool and order food from the bar, lol!
I'm sorry but Arrow and her constant unimpressed expression always cracks me up, I'm sure she's going to be the most comical one when she's older, like with the driest most hilarious jokes ever!

such a fun party for all the kids! I always grew up with goodie bags at birthdays (maybe it was a canadian thing) and we always do it for our kids parties now. We try to incorporate an activity that we did during the party. For my son's last birthday it was pokemon themed. We bought a bunch of pokemon cards and all of the kids opened them and traded, it was a solid hour long activity, then they put their cards in their goodie bags to take home after. They all really seemed to enjoy it and then we didn't have to buy too much extra things for the goodie bags :)

The balloons arch balloons, as well as the ‘two wild’ and the animal heads can all be filled with regular air. You don’t need helium for an arch, and for foil letter balloons (as well as the animal heads) you can use regular air too (use a skinny straw to inflate them) and stick them to the wall with double sided tape/glue dots. I used the same decor for my nephews birthday party and didn’t use any helium.
So I've done similar balloon letters before, and they are not meant to be blown up with helium. The best way to do them is to blow up with air and stick to the wall (painters tape works great)!
Yesss that was totally my mistake for not looking at how they’re supposed to work! I totally thought any balloon could take helium or air, but I was wrong lol
I grew up with grab bags for kids at partied. My parents would always have the best. They packed the bags with candy and small toys. I remember everyone always loving to go to our parties as kids. Now I do it for my daughters birthdays.

You can buy a regular air pump that you plug into an outlet on Amazon. It can blow 2 balloons at a time. I used the regular air pump and made my own balloon arch for my daughter’s 2nd birthday 2 weeks ago. Her party was ice cream themed.
Can you do a haul what she got as far as presents? I need ideas for my child who turns 2 soon!

I loved how this came out!!! So adorable. I am a party planner and have experience with those balloons you ordered. For the circle balloon garland set. I usually just blow them up with a balloon hand pump. These balloons do not do well with helium they will pop. They don't need to float in the air to do a garland they will hold up once they are put together. Same for the two wild letters. Those aren't meant to float like a regular balloon. They can be blown up and taped in the back to a wall or Backdrop using double sided tape.

I hope you wanted to go out and get the balloons sorted - because I feel like it would have been nice for you to have some help and someone offer to go get them blown while you enjoyed the day with Arrow and got to stay where the party was. Feels unfair you went alone on your daughter's birthday!

How was your experience with Coco Village? I ordered the kitchen/vanity you bought for Arrow, for my daughter. The balloon issue! Lol we had the same issues! I bought balloons before the party from Amazon and the night before our balloons weren’t blowing up with our helium- the party store said they couldn’t do it with the helium shortage… it definetly ruined my image but we still had a great party! Our theme was twoti fruiti!
Im suprised that party/gift bags wernt big for you when you were little. We called them lollybags and it was so fun buying everything and them putting them together before a party!!

I wish I had this for my baby shower. All my little animals were made out of sugar, and it’s so hot in my state, that the cake ended up melting😞 those little toppers might have been helpful. Even the ones on the cupcake look neat!!!

if you ever run into balloons that aren’t meant to float you can fill them with air and tape them to a wall!! I’ve had numbers before and they don’t stay straight while floating and it’s annoying so taping them to the wall is a better idea
I’m a new subscriber and I would love to know more about why you chose the animal theme and how you chose her bedroom theme. I think it’s super cute! I love that it’s different than the typically blue for boy/pink for girls. Is there a certain reason you love the animal theme for Arrow
I picked that theme because she LOVES animals! The other "thing" she really loves are dolls, but I thought a doll theme might be a bit creepy lol - like annabelle/ chucky vibes

We got two batches of balloons for my daughter’s birthday from amazon. One batch kept popping, which terrified me 😭😂. The other batch was great but it was back up. Get balloons that are DOUBLE layered!
How will you know if they are double layered?

I’m planning for my daughters 2nd birthday and we’re also doing the Two Wild theme. Now I’m panicking about ordering balloons on Amazon!
Someone said to do double layered! I realize I bought balloons meant only for an arch, so they don’t accept helium only plain air. Same with the letters and animals I picked out! The cheetah balloons did work with helium 🤷🏼♀️
I was going to say I used those balloons for my daughters party for a big arch and they worked perfect with regular air😅😅
