All round amazing bush trail aircraft. I thought i saw at first glance a gigantic squid sighted swimming below the back of the aircraft @ 2:39, it scared me at first lol, but it was just the light playing tricks with the lens.
All that holds the A frame to the glider is some little bolts. As safety, I'd like to see you secure metal ropes from each of the A frame posts onto the rod of the glider. If the bolt snaps then the A frame will have the ropes as backup until you can land. ? ?

1 thing to think about for a video. If you made a sunset, front camera facing, (wouldnt see the boat. Just water) with relaxing music instead if propwash, looped it for a couple hours and monitized it, i bet you would get alot of views. You could place it under a few more catagories. One other question, have you thought of making a parachute for it? When your high up on that, it doesnt look like theres any help for miles around. Or at least grab an EPIRB.

There is a company making wankel style rotary engines. Would double the price but got be u llbut to be able to haul more fuel and a passenger would be worth it. I would do a gyro style for the auto rotation in case it fails. Plus would study them inside and out. A twin prop would be cool to.

That was my thought. One single, very small bolt supporting two guys, a 4 cylinder engine, fuel and a load of aluminium.

It is not just a bolt, there is a security cable also. You just don't see it and asume false premises.

How many miles can you go on full tank?
It flies at around 55mph ground speed so it depends on the winds I'm good for 4 hours flight time.
