Quarterly Onshape Review: Learn What’s New

We’re halfway through the year, and the list of Onshape upgrades just keeps getting better!
Like clockwork, Onshape delivers a product release once every three weeks to all users. This past quarter, we prioritized highly impactful core modeling improvements, and a ton of feature enhancements facilitating agile product development.
Here’s a sneak peek at key upgrades we will cover:
• Surfacing: G3 bridging curve, isoparametric curve, curve appearances
• Core Modeling: Pattern skipping, mate connectors on curves, thin loft/ thin sweep, mate connector on part origin in assemblies
• Drawings: Cross highlighting inspection, fit class override, custom watermarks

It's been a great quarter! My favorite things from here are G3 bridging curve, realigning mate connectors to a face, and the isoparametric curve. It would be great to add split face function to the isoparometric curve tool.

I still can't believe it is free (not to mention numerous training courses)! The business license is kinda steep for me but I would gladly donate should you have a community support page.

I like the "skip instances" feature in the pattern dialog, but I will like it better when that selection set becomes configurable like the selection set in the Boolean dialog box is. As it is now I have to make a separate pattern that uses "skip instances" for each configuration and use the configure suppression tool, which seams to over burden my configuration panel, Please make that happen soon. thx
