the best narator I've ever heard. He should be working as a narator for every single documentary. I can hear every single word he said.

Seeing the before & after satellite images of towns built over the lines is extremely heartbreaking.

In Paul Devereux's book "Shamanism and the Mystery LInes", Quantam, 1992, he argues, persuasively, that the Nazca lines, and the so-called ley lines were established by shamans whose trance flights to their version of heaven were marked on earth by these straight lines. The tribes in the Nazca area still use these straight lines as "Death roads|" which are noted for being straight to the point of ignoring easier topography nearby, in favour of the most direct route regardless of the terrain. Remnants of similar beliefs survive in Germany, the Netherlands and England, where there isolated instances of special tracks used to carry caskets from the church to graveyards.
Since the Shamans were flying in straight lines in their trances to make their way to the realms of the dead it made sense that they marked the shamans' trance flights to the same places.
According to Devereux, the giant animal geoglyphs at Nazca (and the chalk hill figures in t he UK) were deliberately designed to be seen from the air to guide the shamans spirits back to their tribal village or locality. I think it is a very elegant solution
    to the Nazca Lines

@ 27:27 Heartbreaking to see housing developments built over the Nasca lines... Thought all the Nasca lines were considered a national heritage & thus protected from man's ignorance... I was wrong in thinking so :(

you get ship-wrecked on a remote island - makes sense to build big symbolic images on the ground in the hope that someone flying past might see them - then after many generations - the ritual continues - island /planet - same thing

These Figures appear to be made by an advanced technology with the accuracy in which they were made! They most likely were found by Human Primative Civilizations, like the Megalithic Pyramids! Topography was most definitely different at the time they were built!

...@29:42...the lines highlighted....notice the groupings of the most lines takes the shape of a condor bird with wings out stretched....
...@22:41...the nasca mandala....if you fold a square piece of paper to the lines...a 3D square box can be made...by blowing into the small opening like a balloon...

If you let yourself see the trapezoidal forms of the rectangles and weirdly disproportionate shapes some of these things can actually look 3 dimensionan.
It makes me think of how the masons supposedly designed the streets of DC and other cities to make 3 dimensional looking drawings to somehow harness some kind of ethereal energy

I believe that the culture that made the glyphs was influenced by the condor to attempt flight. Most likely a basic kite with a person attached. This could easily explain the method of construction.

  • @summersolstice884
    @summersolstice884 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

@19:45 Narrator claims that the tribe was primitive, no social construction, no writing, etc. Yet here are these incredible glyphs...
Wouldn't it be a real hoot if it turns out these people were mathematical and geometry geniuses??? And the glyphs were their way of working out their formulas???
Also question for current Rock Hounds/Geologists ... How did that layer of large grey rocks form on top of the lighter colored smooth surface?? That just looks so utterly crazy.

The Nazca lines were a giant art gallery on the desert floor created for fly over viewing. This was made possible by the domestication of flying dinosaurs that continued to thrive in that country and used as air vehicles. This makes sense if the man and dinosaur interaction carvings on the Ica stones are correct.

These drawings remind me of the crop circles. A researcher & photographer of crop circles, took a video of two orbs, approximately four feet above the crop, in the process of constructing a crop circle. They were creating the very complicated and intricate design seen, in many crop circles. These orbs were not of this world and were under the control of an alien intelligence, following the instructions of someone from a sphere traveling to Earth; the journey taking four years as indicated by a crop circle. A scientist giving a presentation to a group of Australians, had deciphered many complex crop circles, many relaying a message, to the People of Earth, from an individual, " with a sense of humour, who has access to our internet, " from aboard a sphere traveling to Earth. He was warning us of grey Aliens barring gifts, technologies, and that their gift was a, " Trojan Horse " . Using this exact phrase. All of these crop circles, those of a very complex and intricate design, where the crop stems, in particular, the nodules on the crop stems, were blown open, from intense heat. The energy utilized in laying the crops down, heating the moisture inside the stock like you would see if you had put the stocks in a microwave oven. This set them aside from those created, " by boarding ". Also what sets these aside, is the intent to communicate a message through their designs. Nothing simple, very perfect in their creation. Showing complex thinking and the use of a technology we do not currently utilize. When you understand that the Nazca geoglyphs and adjacent lines are made by using _one line_ . You can make an educated guess, that both are drawn or set out by using very advanced technology from the air. Some of the rocks may have been removed, by the Natives, of that area. These geometric patterns, of the crop circles, are meant to be viewed from the air; as are the geoglyphes, in the Nasca Desert. Non of these patterns, were set out by humans, especially by a very technological primitive humans. It doesn't take a rocket scientist, to make this observation; but took a rocket scientist to decipher.

The means of flight used in the Nazca context were domesticated flying dinosaurs. Consider the Ica stones.

There is a geoglyph in SoCal, but I guess I'm the only one to have seen it. Flying out of San Diego, ten or fifteen minutes out en route to Pdx. A giant Bison. Hard to miss if one is looking down. Very strange can't find mention of it anywhere.

The nazca lines are a 3D map visible only from the sky, the animal drawings were made later and have nothing to do with them, they just make them look primitive to us.

POSSIBLY SACRIFICIAL IN PRACTISE.. IT DOES THOUGH HAVE THE APPEARANCE OF A SCALY SNAKE.. THAT SAID, MAJORE LABOR, AND FANTASTIC ART FROM THE SKY.. ENJOY THE DAY --- MADD PS.
