- Learn a workaround for sublimating on 100% canvas WITHOUT using Laminate sheets or sublimation spray.
Materials used:
Stretched Canvas (Dollar Tree)
Sublimation printer (if you have infusible ink or sublimation ink markers, you can use that in lieu of printing a photo)
Heat press (I used Cricut EasyPress2)
Heat press Mat
Laser copy paper
regular copy paper
teflon sheet (optional)

great video have you ever tried the polycrylic mixed with water and do you think that would work also?
I haven't tried that, but I think it would probably work. Let me know if you try it!
nice video! I wanna try this with another acrilic sealer but the same tecnique, what about the canvas texture? it feels like fabric after the process? like a real art canvas when you touch it? or it feels like plastic texture?
thanks for your response!
The canvas texture doesnt change when using the spray. If you run your fingers over the picture, you can feel the fibers. The canvas does get a little stiff (only a little), but that is true with any paint you might put on a canvas.
Good luck!!
Just buy polyester canvas 🤦🤷🏽♂️
where can I buy it in bulk? Everything I find that is heavy enough is coated or treated in some way. It is so simple to just do this on polyester canvas. I have found it by the 11.8"x15" piece, but I would think I could buy it by the roll. Even the rolls 100% polyester material that goes into direct to fabric ink jet wide format printer are coated so as to make sublimation NOT possible. If you know of a place to get suitable gallery wrap 100% polyester canvas, untreated, in a roll please let me know. Thanks!
