- I show how to make custom fit 5 layer Reflectix insulated light blocking privacy stealth window cover inserts that are easily removed and stored in your camper, can be made for any car, van or RV. I incorporate a layer of static air space between two Reflectix layers to boost R-value which can even reduce window condensation and from the outside they just look like tinted windows.

FINALLY, A PROPER TRANSITION BETWEEN VIDEOS!!!!!! TY!!!!
Every single time I came up with a question you answered it within 30 seconds lol
Your tutorials are excellent. Very smart methods and tricks! I really appreciate that you don't just make the tutorial on your first attempt but test things out, learn from it and then make a tutorial that mentions all the pitfalls. One suggestion for the tape going around the edges. There is a tape that has a velvet/felt like surface. It's great to get smooth edges and makes it easy to install and taking them back out.
This is fabulous! Your duct tape tip for testing the fit of the corrugated piece is GREAT!!
This series is exactly what I needed. Thank you so much!
I just bought the material...now to get the reflectix and corrigated stuff. And tape...and glue...
Oh how I wish I could post a picture... I’m sure making a huge mess 😅 Thank you for this, it inspired me to start my build 🙌🏽
Thank you!! I am making these right now....and I just wanted to say an extra thanks cause I got my "pull-out" tape in before I tested the fit. Hahaha.
where do you put all of these when it’s not cold? I have a 13ft. RV with limited storage.
I might suggest using cork as your air space seal both sides with contact paper also a better sound barrier
Where did you get the cork?
*I am really learning alot thanks for these videos*
Great detailed video!
Why 2 layers on each side..can i do 1 side and leave white board blank to add design facing inward??
I have a van similar to the panarama van build you did. Can I use these in that van?
How has the duct tape and glue held up in heat? I'm making one to lay flat on my back dashboard of my car so its going to get direct sun for hours everyday in the driveway. And what about the smell of the tape and glue inside vehicle?
In taping the edges, if I had to piece the reflects for the size window I have and have a seam I’m thinking I need to duct tape those to create a seal so air does not get In, correct?
Thanks again ... on to Part 3 :))
Awesome videos! I am going to do this. My first ones I did were not that good
Thank you! very easy to follow :)
Thanks. Not sure if you mentioned it, but never apply black or tint to inside of dual pane glass
Good to know, thanks for posting!
When you say apply. Do you mean affix to or just up against. I have a 2001 BigFoot camper with dual plane windows can I use this method or not
Marcel Chaloux Jr when you say apply do you mean affix to or up against. I have a 2001 BigFoot camper can I use this method or application
what about super glue/krazy glue/gorilla glue?
I used gorilla glue :) The dry time was a pain though.
Part # / Barcode for black fabric with vinyl ( at Walmart ) is shown in the show notes.
Tabs! Again, genius. :)
I have a 2001 BigFoot camper with dual plane windows can I use this method.
Yes! I did an updated series of videos for campers - having more square windows. A bit easier way. Just look through my video list. It is a 3 part series.
I saw a comment from one of your viewers that said not to use on dual pane windows. Can you please direct me in the right direction
Forget the glue gun. Use double sided tape.
Very few people realize how terrible regular store bought hotglue is.. I have nightmare stories about failings of hotglue over long term use.
Love evweything youve done so far until u got that glue gun out! That would melt here in the Australian heat
i used recycled election . signs. 'Vote for bob" much cheaper,
free!
