    Thanks for info. Have ramps on my Vermeer and they are not very good at all .

      @@garyhoward3123 I've never used ramps but can imagine. I have had maybe 3 times it didn't kick right on flat. I mounted a cabcam up under the back of mine, I can see the wrap get pulled in, cut, and if the bale kicks.

      I see now how the kicker works. Looks like the rear gate powers it instead of its own cylinders. In that set up it does not stay extended while the gate closes and on a slope the bale could come back too close. Thanks

    Funny to watch you sweating when my sister posted cleaning off snow on her car. I used to live up there.

    Probably your gate cylinders leaking off causing the gauge to go down

    • @AndyFromm
      @AndyFromm  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm thinking about rebuilding all the cylinders sometime and see if that helps. 👍

      @@AndyFromm I've sure seen it. I guess it could be one of the o rings in the tension adjuster leaking by. I blame mine on the remotes on my 7045. Still works good though. (530 baler)

    • @AndyFromm
      @AndyFromm  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@OnePieceTractor i tried swapping some parts on the tension valve with my old baler with no change. I also pressured it up and unhook the hoses, it still bled off. I should try to get it in the shop and rebuild the cylinders. It does operate fine if they tie right the first time but if they don't, then the pressure is bled off by the time you get the wrap straightened out.

    Can you explain how to go from twine tie to net wrap on this baler ?

    • @AndyFromm
      @AndyFromm  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Do you happen to have the operators manual "OME87620 Issue K5"? It says how to do it in there but I could probably make a video sometime. I never use twine on my baler.

    Do you need to backup when wrapping ejecting? Thinking about buying a 435 with kicker.

    • @AndyFromm
      @AndyFromm  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@garyhoward3123 on reasonably flat ground, no the kicker will do the work. If you are on a slope wrong, its good to back up.

    Do you know what years had the exhaust setup like yours? All the 7k series I see for sale have it in the middle of the hood…

    • @AndyFromm
      @AndyFromm  ปีที่แล้ว

      None, it was my late father in laws tractor. He filled the hood hole and did the exhaust when he painted the tractor.
      I would like to re do the exhaust sometime out of better pipe as this leaks all over. 👍
