on an aside, one of the things that Mantic got right on Kings of War was saying "use anyone's miniatures, even at official tournaments"
Partly that is acknowledging a reality that they don't manufacture all the figures for the various factions, but it was still and all s nice approach.
If DS goes competitive, hopefully they will do the same thing here.

Mr. Oren thank you for this video. I 100% agree that it should be part of the base game. This makes me want to buy DS, but I am not sure I want to spend that much on both. Man that solo play option.

+robert oren - have you tried playing it solo? I would love to hear your detailed opinions on how it plays this way.

Darnit, Now i might have to save up to get the game and adventure box, dont care about the mini's but the rules seems awesome, ill use models from other lines. And friends are getting into Kings of War which seems super awesome as a army fight game. Great review...

The game came with a set of 5 decks,01-05. I received two Deck01 and no Deck03. Can anyone tell me what deck03 contains? Still waiting on Mantic to deliver the missing parts.

seems like a really good dungeon crawl that could have been great with better production, but every game can't be perfect I guess

Hi. regarding using the beastiary. How do I know how many hits the monsters need to take to die? If I do not have the Overlord panel for Orc's for example.. how do I then know how to deal with the damage the bad Guys take using the Adventurers companion? Cheers from Tommy

I have to disagree for once. I was very disappointed in the adventures companion. character creation and advancement were lacking. not much in the way of new momsters the rules for making your own bosses don't seem right. the human ability of chameleon is kind if silly. a human can mimic any other race in the party. that means the human can also mimic the elemental racial abilities which doesn't make sense. the adventure companion was supposed to bring role-playing to the game but in my opinion it did not. for me it turned dungeon saga into advanced dungeon saga but it never made it a role playing game as advertised.

Being an old GM of roleplaying games and also aHUGGGGEEEE fan of heroes quest, this is the add on i was aiming at since the beginning.
Being also a veteran player of warhammer fantasy battles ( rip) i have tons of green skins, undead, demons and more.
Îm really looking into this add on to create my own campaign and scenarios for my players.
Doing home rules never scared me.
Just one question, is there any rules to creates "overlords"? Is it cover like the anti-heroes of DS?
Anyway i can't wait to do my own KARAK VARN and others universes that'made my daus at that time.
