With the gannet you should use a drop loop. It keeps the main line a yard or so bellow the props. Less risk of tangling the props and loosing the drone.

My Fave rods are Lami Surf//Jetty 10' graphite with a ZeeBaas and also have a glass one with Slammer IV along with St Croix Mojo 10' with a Shimano Twin Power. There are several other's that deserve mention though
🤦 haha, mahalos for your input. We don't mind, it actually benefits us in the TH-cam algorithm. It an engagement factor that helps rank our videos even higher haha.
We been using $200-$350 used DJI Phantom 2 & 3 drones from eBay that came out 6+ years ago and developers have stopped making firmware updates for them which may cause flight issues. I have been flying drones way before I got into drone fishing so having experience helps a lot. To be honest if you have the budget and the flying skills I would go for a more stable & reliable DJI Phantom 4. If you are just starting i would either use a functional phantom 3 drone from eBay or a cheap $150 walmart drone. The feeling sucks big time if you lose a drone, but it's better to lose something that is $300 than something that's worth $1200. Hope this helps 🙏

personally I've never used a Walmart drone before therefore I can't really suggest one in a sense, but if it were me I'd look for the biggest one and start with that. 19:26 this is the reason why you either buy use, or buy the dji inspire . Spend the money if you like I’m come home , if you get new then pay for the fly away coverage which you get two chances
I agree! After I lost this one I was mindset on the Inspire but ended up scoring a brand new a DJI Phantom 4 the beginning of the year for deals, so far it's been super reliable and perfect for my needs.

We use a double hook slide gaff. Not sure if they sell it up in the mainland or wherever you are locally. We have them in our local fishing tackle shops, very popular in Hawaii especially fishing from cliffs.
