- This is part of the final evaluation of the Music of Thailand class Spring 2021 at Northern Illinois University School of Music Dekalb, IL USA.
Thai music ensemble is officially reestablished a couple of years ago, directing by Chamni Sripraram aka Ajarn Chamni.
The Thai music ensemble is one of the ensembles of the World Music program at NIU directing by Dr. Jui-Ching Wang.
For this particular demonstration, there were two songs connected. Khae Bo Ra Ted is the first song, is considered to be the classical song type. Phama Tung Ray is Sum nieng type of Thai classical music that assimilated the Burmese music characteristics by using the Ozi (Myanmar), Klong Yao (Thailand) into this song.
