Hall is amazing, one of three bass players I love hearing play a solo. Well Pastorius is dead before he developed his full talent, Esperanza is not on the same level as Hall. So Hall is the best bass player I've ever heard.
Remember playing alongside Seamus in a college jazz band. He was a high school student at the time and his depth of mastery was evident even then.
I could listen to Troy and Seamus ALL DAY LONG. So much amazing playing, history, creativity, sound, everything.
I want a big Emmet Cohen concert with various guests.
