Hi! It's good to see that you've been getting along well with your implant; it's been around the same amount of time for me as well. I also had the difficulties with bimodal streaming, I had to change my hearing aid and phone to be able to get the streaming (weirdly I had to change from an android to an iphone because I have the cochlear brand of implant). I also had to change from a Phonak to Danalogic hearing aid because with Cochlear they only have one brand of hearing aid that allows bimodal streaming with the implant. Hopefully soon they come up with an industry standard that makes everything compatible with everything else.

Hello Nessa, yes it been a while since you uploaded a video regarding your hearing process. I am glad you are doing well. I am about to be re-evaluated for a second cochlear implant for my left ear now. I love my cochlear implant, and it has really changed my life for the better. Right now, I am just hearing out of my right ear with my implant. I stream all the time more so than before. I also use the shirt collar clip to hold on my sound processor. Mine have fallen off many times and I have the over the ear type. I agree I hope Apple jump on board on the accessible technology for hearing aids and cochlear implants. I am looking forward to finally have Auracast right now Apple doesn't support it, but I hope so soon. Thank you for the videos and It's great to see you again and I will always look forward to seeing you again soon. your videos really helped me when I was scared of the process of having an implant. I can go on but to size it up you really made it so easy to understand and helped me make choices for my hearing needs. Thank you again.

How does the implanted ear sound in comparison to your other ear? Does it sound the same now and if so how long to get to that point? One week post op here, unilateral SSD, awaiting activation to start my journey.
