Thank you for being here and going on this journey with us. This is just a few of the activities that we did during the month of December.

i forgot to mention for the drink the non diet is best but, if you have a condition that doesn't allow you to drink it diet works just fine :)
My father passed away December 16 and hours before he passed we were hearing faint singing surrounding their cabin in the woods. I went looking for the source of the singing, thinking maybe a radio was on somewhere. I even went outside and it was as quiet as could be. I looked everywhere but if I was in my father’s bedroom I could hear the singing. My sister heard it and my mom heard it and she could make out one of the songs (how great thou are). The singing stopped after my dad passed. I think it was Angels surrounding him. My father LOVED the Lord and raised his kids to love the Lord. I was truly blessed to have a faithful father.
Ps… I love that your channel is growing. May the Lord continue to bless your work and vlogs.
It truly gives me faith, comfort and lessons in growing with the Lord.
wow that is amazing it gave me goosebumps and brought tears to my eyes (all in a good way) my condolences to you and your family for the loss of your father ❤there is a saying that we use here quite often "God takes care of his" or when someone passes "God hurries with his people" (to bring them home) hopefully that will bring you comfort.

Skating with Hannah (such a happy girl!) was a great moment to capture on recording. Pure free Joy! Conan, later on in video, was so cute. He loved it!
The boy's hockey game reminded me of all the games my kids played on with teams. Soccer, basketball, football and even track! I loved every minute of watching my kids playing those sports. Thank you for bringing up the memories.
A very Happy Belated Birthday to your brother Austin! He's the same age as my second grandson! Almost a grown man!
The parade and Memorial touched my heart. Praise to our Living God...
The Christmas carols were lovely. I'm apart from my family because of we couldn't make it happen again this year. I have my old dog and cats I'm so grateful for. But I miss my family.
Tearing up now. I'm so grateful for your taking the time and the compassion to share your beautiful Colony life with us on You Tube. Your energy, positivity, sense if Community and your shining Faith are inspiring. This video gave my Christmas day a Celebration to be part of!
I wish for all of the World to be free from the Pandemic, and that Our Prince of Peace brings His peace into our hearts in 2022. May God bless you and your family and the Colony, tonight and throughout the New Year.

I feel your pain. My heart goes out to you. I don't know about you but this world holds nothing for me anymore. I mean I'm happy in my life and keeping the home you know. I enjoy those things but this Grandma is ready when Jesus calls us home which looks to be pretty soon. So many things leaping from the pages of the Bible and people are still asleep. Well I look forward to meeting you. Keep your eyes on Jesus and I'll see ya on the flip side. Shalom.

I also have to live through you during the winter months. I live in the southern USA and one snake will shut school down. I’m serious. One flake in the air and they send them home from school. We don’t have much snow equivalent because it’s very hot most of the year. I miss the snow from where I’m from. It’s not like Canada’s snow but we got some blizzards, ice storms and cold weather. Your colony is like a winter wonderland.

Thank you for sharing that fact about tonic water. I LOVE tonic water. But a few weeks ago my kids and I did an experiment we took 3 eggs, put one in water, one in tonic water and one in diet pepsi. I of coarse thought that the diet drink would eat the egg shell , but it was the tonic water that actually did the most damage. But now I have a good reason to have tonic water now and then. The Fire Truck parade is so cool!
If you like the taste of the tonic water, there is a soda from Schweppes, called Bitter Lemon or Bitter Orange that you might like. Not sure if they sell those in Canada, but they are the only sodas I like, cause they aren't sweet.
Good luck with the ice skating. You have all year to practice that backwards skating and stopping.

Thank you Giselle for highlighting how aspartame is NOT good for your health. It seems in UK, where they have a crazy sugar tax, the dreaded artificial sweetener is being used as a substitute for the real deal. I've known people with serious health problems and dietary problems become awfully sick when drinking/eating LoCal & it was only after an elimination diet that aspartame was found to be the culprit, within days of removing it from the diet good health was restored. I would NEVER give this to a child & won't let it in our house! Stay safe & healthy! Loved the Carols & Community Concert that was shared earlier - very special. Hope Kona is well?
oh yes Kona is doing well 🙂i have always know that the drink had it but, recently with my family and i getting into our health more i really found out how bad it is for you.

I'm quite certain that all these 'fake' things we put in our food is doing humanity great harm. We try to eat as fresh & 'clean' as possible - but even then it's not easy - at least you grow the bulk of your own food - I hope we will be able to do so again if I can ever manage it! All the best to you all for a healthy New Year - I do wonder how you cope with the cold. I used to live on Lake Michigan & that could be bitter but I would look like an Eskimo when I went out!! Keep safe!

Merry Christmas Giselle. I got to see my nephew today, he's 3!! So much energy that little one has!! My dad and I started Parchesi, but we didn't finish. And my sister brought a kid friendly game I do not remember the title. My sister gets the best games all the time. I set up my new Tablet, that was fun. And since I had Spotify, I played some instrumental Christmas music for my stepmom. I got everything I wanted, one sweater (my first one with a turtleneck), and pictures of my nephew, I got bread from my brother-in-law and homemade jam from my friend in Montana? If I didn't send her a card, I'll send her one next week.
