  • @powellsantacruz
    @powellsantacruz 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    In basketball, talent alone can't give you the brand "best". You need wide eyes, understanding and smarts to be one. And lin has better eyes and smarts, that's why any player he's with looks very good.

  • @powellsantacruz
    @powellsantacruz 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    Like kobe says in an interview, to be a better team, it takes chemistry. It means you need smart and hard working players who can get along with the rest of his teammates. A coach who knows his teams strenghts and weaknesses and understands. And an entire team and crew that communicates and commit 110% for the teams better interest not for just one person alone.

    i like the rockets and a huge fan of lin and harden but i think they should just aim to get into the playoffs this year... beating elite teams will come but with the youngest roster in the nba and having missed the post season for the past few seasons, just getting in will be a right step for this ball club. anything else is bonus.

    Nash do crossovers more often even when he's young whereas Lin makes use of his speed and charges right pass his defenders.

    Thanks for the quick upload, you're the best. Did you see Harden pass the ball to Lin for an alley oop? Lin missed, but nice try though. The highlight of the night got to be 3:10 when Lin stole the ball, he did not even look up, then lop a full-court pass to Deflino. Deflino was all smiles. The saying is give the ball to Lin, run

  • @epik151
    @epik151 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    Perfect counter; steal, QB pass to Delfino. Also, Delfino was unplayable this game. Made the difference, every time Atlanta came close, Delfino nailed a three. He also made assists, drives, mid-range jumpers. Great performance by him.

  • @wildpyro910
    @wildpyro910 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    There have been plenty of successful guards that couldn't shoot at the beginning of their careers. Rajon Rondo, Jason Kidd, and Magic Johnson to name a few.
    A long as Lin can get in the paint and dish out dimes, his shooting can wait until the offseason.

  • @sharkl11
    @sharkl11 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    Unselfish ball. Great team chemistry. Not like when Melo came back from injury last year and killed all of it. Harden gets his points like Melo, but also watches out for his teammates.

  • @Willow102183
    @Willow102183 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    yeah.. but I still don't see quite strong chemistry between Lin and Delfino on and off court. that full court pass, with how Jeremy plays I know it's a no brainer for him, plus Delfino's already nearest the basket... so I'll give it more games before I can say that Lin and Delfino have great chemistry

  • @damiester1
    @damiester1 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    Taiwanese are Han Chinese with a different political party, that's all there is to it. As for Americans, you could still distinguish which part of Europe/Africa they originally came from. You can only be American by nationality and not ethnicity unless of course you're a native. Hence Jeremy Lin is an American by nationality and a Chinese by blood.

  • @damiester1
    @damiester1 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    no point in explaining that to me, I'm just trying to close the matter. Some of those han Taiwanese refuse to admit being anything close to a Chinese and still proclaims independence.

    @powellsantacruz 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    Watching lin is like watching john stockton.

  • @damiester1
    @damiester1 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    Lin already closed the matters on this. He has a mixed bloodline of Chinese and Taiwanese but ultimately his nationality is of American.

  • @thekevindangrises
    @thekevindangrises 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    It's awesome to see an Asian make it to the NBA and be successful so far, but when other people try to compare him to Jordan, it makes us look stupid. If you were to ask Lin himself, he'd probably say that he is nothing compared to Jordan. He's just a guy that's trying to do his own thing in today's league.
    But when people say he sucks, then that's also wrong. You can't just look at his stats and say he sucks. Basketball is so much more than stats. He's done a good job to keep his team winning.

    ROCKETS R HOT!

  • @powellsantacruz
    @powellsantacruz 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    Every rockets fan knows that this team is still a young team. All players are only with each other for like what 31games? And you expect them to dominate the west? It's like hiring a guy to work for you and expect him to know every fucking thing. For a young team like rockets, no. 6 in western conference with 17 14 stat, aint bad at all.

  • @damiester1
    @damiester1 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    His father's distant ancestors were from Zhangpu County, Fujian, in mainland China, and settled in Taiwan in 1707. While his maternal grandmother emigrated to Southern Taiwan in the late 1940s from Pinghu, Zhejiang in mainland China.
    What exactly is the truth lol?

  • @damiester1
    @damiester1 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    No dude, Americans are from a variety of European countries not just Britain. They would have some European blood in them but nationality-wise they're considered Americans. Moreover Taiwan and Mainland China are considered to be of the same country, but simply having a civil war. Whichever party wins, they're still of Chinese ethnicity.

  • @damiester1
    @damiester1 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    Strictly speaking no since there are natives, although many of the Taiwanese did come from China.

  • @damiester1
    @damiester1 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    Then why not leave it be if the person himself closed the matter?
