Very nice, but as I recall, The East side suburbs is where the rich clientele reside in Cleveland. Haven’t been to Cleveland in a long time, but I remember Beachwood Mall was the place to shop for luxury goods.
I love the interview! This is the first video of yours I have seen. I have subscribed and given you a thumbs up. I have a question. Have you heard anything about a company called Watch Warehouse?
@@TIANWANGWatch Watches that are marketed towards women usually suck. They're just pandering afterthoughts that some 'girly' crap (probably diamonds) has been slapped on. I -- and most of the women I know who collect -- own only what are marketed as men's / unisex watches.
Okay, I watched the entire thing before commenting. Amazing quality video, what really shines is your love for what you do. Equally as enjoyable was watching Teddy explain many of the same things I've gone through the last 20 years. Congrats to both of you!
Wrist Enthusiast has just about 3,500 subs. The fact Teddy gave this interview is a huge statement that endorses Wrist Enthusiast as well as making a statement of what kind of person Teddy Baldassarre is. I respect both
Thank you for the kind words. TH-cam has been a new experience for me (coming over from Instagram). And although it’s a process, I definitely think it’s worth it!
Teddy, I have followed your journey since the pandemic hit. It is so exciting to see you succeed as an entrepreneur. I hope Breitling awards you a Universal Geneva franchise in a couple of years. It is also great to see you reinvest in your home town community! Wrist Enthusiast, you asked the right questions and let Teddy talk. I am now a subscriber to your channel.
I really enjoyed it, usually I don't watch a video as long as this but It felt like five minutes, good and interesting questions, the ones that many of us would have done Kudos my Friend!!
Great interview with Teddy. It’s nice to hear Teddy’s entrepreneurial story and how he eventually was able to be successful to have a brick and mortar watch boutique. As a watch enthusiast, I’ve been able to see all of his episodes. I enjoy the content he brings to the watch collecting world. I strongly feel Teddy will continue to be successful.
Outstanding, informative, interview. Glad Teddy made it a point to introduce his instore team at the end. Next time I’m in Cleveland, I’ll make time to shop at his store. For now, I’ll continue to shop on his online store and follow you. Remember, coffee is for closers; always put the customer first and work backwards
I recall watching Teddy at the beginning of his journey and realizing I knew more about watches than he did. But he’s kept at it, following his passion and doing well. Congrats to him!
Awesome episode. You asked all the questions that we’d want to hear the answer to. And then some ! Good for Teddy that he didn’t have to get bankrolled by someone else. He’s worked so hard ti made it, I’m sure all his fans are proud of him
From what I understand he comes from a very wealthy family. But he is obviously very motivated and passionate or he wouldn't have the success he has had. Takes more than money to make a business successful.
Excellent interview. Let the interviewee talk, ask meaningful questions. Teddy is a class act and I admire his honest responses sharing some vulnerabilities as well. That’s a rare trait these days and the reason why he is so credible. Thanks for bringing us this content.
Great video guys. Nice to see you both together. Teddy’s journey is fascinating and I had a great time listening to him about his challenges and successes. Thank you!
I watch Teddy to get honest reviews and to see some lesser known brands and watches. That’s the brand for me. Too many TH-camrs just review the same small set of “popular” brands and watches. Keep up the great content and good luck with the new retail/brand outlet.
New sub. As a new watch enthusiast, I really enjoyed this video. Very honest and the passion about watches from both you shows. Well done and thank you for the great content. Keep it up.
Without being rude, I think you asked some very good questions that a lot of people were curious about. Questions he wouldn’t answer on his videos so appreciate your content.
Great interview and great questions. All the questions I would have asked or wanted to know the answers to. I have followed Teddy and various other Watch enthusiasts over the last few years since lockdown. Good luck to Teddy with his new venture and good luck to you with your channel.
I admire how much attention and love the Glashütte Original corner got. Looks like a Patek Philippe or Lange corner in terms of quality and presentation. Puts them really high up there, which is nice to see. Congratulations to the store.
Certainly a long Video. I didn't expect to actually watch the whole thing...but I did. Well produced, well researched, high quality. The store is lovely, and Teddy is clearly a man of extremely high-integrity. I'll be coming to visit the Teddy Store in a few months when I come (from Canada) to watch my horse race in the Ohio Sires Stakes at Northfield Park. 'Very much looking forward to it.
Nicely done! Great interview, i'd rather listen to you speak with Teddy than that other shark guy. lol. But more seriously, I think the store looks great, and Crocker Park looks like a very interesting place to visit. When i first heard of the location, it seemed like a very odd choice for retail, but actually the community feel of this new development is very unique mix of traditional "small town" feel and more contemporary urban planning. Wishing Teddy much success, he works hard at it.
It has a really lively feel. Also seems like there is an eclectic group of people there so I think it’ll be successful. Anyway, thanks for the kind words. I really appreciate it!
This was a first rate top quality interview. Wonderful questions and answers regarding Teddy's journey and business thoughts. It's clear that nobody makes a living purely from Watch content. Watch/accessory sales/advertising is a mandatory. Only Archieluxury makes a living doing the watch content, and even then, he basically milks wealthy donors for superchats.
@@wristenthusiast your welcome. Getting people to open up about the ins and outs of their business can be difficult. I own 3 companies that I have built over the last 8 years. So when I see someone able to pull real information about business out of someone I need to applaud it!
why is it that all of a sudden I find myself watching a lot of watch videos? Damn you Teddy! I just bought my first automatic watch. I am trying to avoid the rabbit hole… Help help help! 😂
Congrats Teddy to go full power mode man ! I’ve saw the TH-cam video by Marc Frankel from Islander Watches! And I’m amazed you didn’t get “scared “ just because someone else said this and that 💪 you kill it it man whetn we start buying watch’s whooooo we start with cheap watches they where’s that amazing Rolex man ???? Etc etc
Teddy: amazing video and enjoy your store enormously. My fam is from Canton. For extra sales, it would totally be worth your while to open a small corner of your store dedicated to selling pre owned Rolex. Getting a preowned a Rolex in northeast Ohio is currently impossible.
I think it will be interesting to see how much Teddy can compete without discounting. Watches are a discounting business with fat margins and his competition, especially in the midwest USA, is discounting. Sure you can get the amateur watch collector to buy their first watch at full retail with Teddy, but at some point he's not going to be competitive at full retail where he wants to play
I'd be exceptionally curious to meet the person who is a Grand Seiko buyer who doesn't frequently spend time in NY or LA or SF or Miami ... or, for that matter, London or Tokyo ...
What do you think of Teddy’s store/new brands?
no women's watches
Wish him the absolute best. I do worry the market may have turned but he will be the sole specialist in the area it seems. Will need footfall
