Would you know why I have all lights work fine on my Launchpad Mini and can trigger clips in FL Studio v11.1.0 with mouse or typing keyboard but hitting the lit pads on the Mini don't work? I can't find an answer anywhere, was hoping you may know. Thanks in advance!
Your touchscreen needs to send MIDI data to launch clips. If by touchscreen you mean a tablet, get the Image-Line Remote App for Android or iOS. It's free and it's amazing. Or if it's an actual display screen, press F10 in FL, and in general settings select "Optimize for - Touch Display." I've never tried it but it should work :D
I am looking at all these awesome electronic music videos, and I want to learn to do this! I have literally no idea where to begin!! can anybody help me get started?
***** The tracks was created from scratch using FL Studios built in instruments and effects only. The guitar and the vocals were recorded in our little studio/training facility above our shop using a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 interface and a Samson CL08 microphone. The lyrics were written by the singer David Sutcliffe. The guitar was played by our MD Peter Butler. This is a work of musical fiction. Any resemblance to actual songs, living or dead is purely coincidental.
I don't understand, why all this launchpad shit is so popular! The people who are doing those videos aren't actually playing the song. They are just tapping buttons and playing back samples from the original song. I understand that pads are good for stuff like drums and dubstep, but i don't understand, why so many people also map normal instruments to the pads. In germany, there is a channel called "theclavinover". He does amazing stuff with loop machines like the RC-505. A mix of that stuff and the launchpad would be awesome.
+StarTrek123456 The only samples used are of the vocals and guitar and both were recorded in our studio. All other parts were programmed (played in with a keyboard) by us using the built in instruments of FL Studio.
...sound so familiar, yet. Nice tutorial! ;)
Avicii...
@@kyklone8881 it was a prank
Great demonstration. Performance mode holds a lot of potential.
Thank you for this tutorial! I like the novation's products and Fl Studio must be the most complete music software, this is a good association! ;)
Nice job, great samples to work with too. I think I've learned a couple things here.
Amazing.... I never thought like this.,
They obviously used avicii as a refrence to create a example of how it could be used its not a track meant to be released
cheers m8! Using this video as a reference on what to buy

Wake Me Up is house...
Mr. Invader Wake Me Up is absolutely not house
Rick Henry nooo not the "what gemnre is it" discussion again
DeckDestroyerz Well theres no discussion to be had, its just not house music.

+StarTrek123456 you have clearly never used one

+StarTrek123456 Your just not cool enough to understand the truth in beautiful music making.
+StarTrek123456 I'd watch some shawn wasabi if I were you ;)
+StarTrek123456 People hit keys on the piano to perform a song
People hit buttons on a launchpad to perform a song
Sounds like a blatant ripoff of Avicii's "Wake Me Up", but good demonstration anyway.
"Wake Me Up"??
