People (like i did!) sleep on age kits. They're all tons of fun to build, pose and display. Color separation is better than the 00 and ibo kits. Sturdy and good looking proportions too. Great review as always man. Hope you're doing well.
Hey its a bit weird to say this but thank you for making the reviews that you make. A relative passed away recently and I constantly go back to this video to help calm down/cope with her loss. The age 1 is my favorite mobile suit and the one I built before her burial. Even though I have it I still go back to this review (and other AGE series mobile suits) nonetheless. A word of warning from me : Do NOT let the shoulder base pegs not snugly pegged in, because if you swing it upwards while the peg isn't snug enough, the yellow collar is gonna catching up the peg, which makes the torque center focused on the peg's base instead of on the polycap joint connection, and since the plastic around its base is quite thin, you're gonna break the shoulder peg clean, unlike the HG Astray ones that are thick enough around the base of the peg.
I know I cracked the rear codpiece of mine from posing a bit too hard. Not a big deal. I do wish the rear skirts could be separated, though. From building the HG Zudah, it could be as simple as a little tab attached to the bar connecting the skirts, so when you cut it down the middle neither skirt pulls out.
it doesnt affect integrity or anything. the HGUC zeta revive and zeta plus both has movable backskirts. the zeta revive even has the premium backskirts with underside cover and thrusters tho i understand in cases like the HGCE Inf. Justice where the hips plugs into the back skirt for the extended spreads
0 Gundam ACD or AGE-1 Normal? Which one is the better OoB experience in your opinion? Because both looking fantastic and I am not sure which one I should buy. 😐 Like always, thank you for the excellent review MJ! 🧡
It's worth it that I buy this HG Age-1 Normal kit few months back cauz I just wanted to collect descent protagonist kit from different Gundam series. Now I only lack few kits Hoped I'm able to hunt them down.

I got the Age 1 Full Glansa as it was a full package of the Age 1 plus armors and backpack.
I just so happen to have the parts to make the Normal from the Razor set, so I though I should set the benchmark
I went with the Master Grade for the AGE-1, and HOLY HELL...
It's genuinely fantastic in its simplicity.

Absolutely true. If one wants to start with a more sci-fi version of the Gramps Gundam, this is the one to go for

one thing i dont understand is why bandai keeps cheaping out on the backskirts. its just literally 1 extra part most of the time
I don't know about Bandai, but perhaps they don't want to risk structural integrity? Maybe?

AGE-1 Normal, as it's the more exciting of the two. However, if you can manage to find the Rollout Colors 0 Gundam, get that instead
I already have the Full Glansa, though. Is there still any reason for me to get this kit; or just go with the Robot Damashii?
If you don't care for the green eyes or displaying them separately, then there's no reason to buy the Normal if you already have the Glansa
Question: can the DODS rifle be stored on the model, like on the backskirt (I think I saw something, like a hook)
Not as far as the manual is concerned, as that hook is utilized by the Shiguru Blade of the Spallow

That's for the Age-1 Spallow's Shiguru Blade and nothing else unfortunately. Well, I guess the Try Age Gundam's rifle too, but that's another story
