  • This is our conclusion to discovering abundant water in the desert by digging a primary water well. We cover the wild ride it took to get down there & our full assessment on if we felt there's anything to the research. We won't give away the details but we are very happy with the results. Thanks for watching & may you have an abundant day!

Bryson, I worked in the oil field doing roughly what your rig does. I talked to someone smarter than I am about it, and he said you need to run a “muleshoe tip with a flapper” baler sized 1 3/4” to try and pick up the sand around your tool string neck. When and if you pick up any of the sand, send the camera back down to verify you have exposed your tool string and then fish it out. I hope this helps and congratulations on finding primary water.

    • @killcrazyvegan
      @killcrazyvegan 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

That sounds about right. They could DIY a weighted pipe sealed at the top with a bottom orifice and a dump valve/check valve rated for 300psi or so. How does the current bailer work? I saw in the video they had welded rebar onto it. Maybe it just needs a different tip or a rubber sleeve in it to ensure the flow-by velocity picks up the sand at the bottom...?
it probably went into some harder rock and the debris jammed it.

@@ws4860 a “trash basket”, I was only involved in using one once to fish out some metal bands that had broken off in a well that was being drilled. It seems like it’s far enough down that it won’t affect the pump at all, and they are pretty big chucks of pipe so Idk if a basket would work.

@CatholicCaitF8: "I'm just seeing now that Dad has passed away this year." So, tell me, where have you been since the day of his death? And why are you expressing sadness for a relationship that was practically nonexistent?
And why are you using this channel to express your grief? Really dude, none of us know anything about your father or your social unit.
So, what I'm trying to tell you is (without disrespect) we couldn't care less about your father or any of your problems that have zero connection with this video.
Want attention? Tell your problems to a doctor that can help you restore your social compass.

@@fritzsmith3296what is that? I’ve admired Gary on this channel for years as a viewer. I live in Las Vegas and LOVE the idea that somewhere quite near this family is doing incredible things. I’ve shared this Channel with others who want to create a homestead…. I hope to one day contribute to a similar homestead…. I just hadn’t realized Gary isn’t with this family anymore and it made me sad to think about. Gary was not of age to pass yet, that was an unfair thing for this family. The start of this video says in honor of Dad, May 2023 - I was acknowledging that what he did with his time here impacted people beyond what the kids may even think about. I was honoring that Gary will be remembered. Your comment sounds like you need to see a doctor.?

    • @iamlove.callmecaitlin
      @iamlove.callmecaitlin 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +13

@@fritzsmith3296 that was just so extremely strange AND DISRESPECTFUL. I was not referring to my father, multiple times throughout this video it is referred to him as ‘Dad is with me on this water project’…. My social compass is directed to the North Star. Please think about your reason for telling someone not to give condolences for a death in the family. That was not appropriate.

I don't have the words to say how filled with emotions I am feeling. Seeing Gary in the first half and then not was hard. But each set back I smiled inside knowing that He was still there. As asomeone who has been watching for a long time, My heart still hurts for you and then my double loss. its been rough. But because our loved ones loved us and made sure that we know that there is a God and that one day we will see them again it gives comfort to us. Unfortunately these claims about “Primary Water Theory” don’t have a great deal of evidence to support them. Contrary to his statements this anecdotal experience does little to prove the theory. I am concerned that they are unwittingly providing support to a fraudulent enterprise.
I am nevertheless pleased that they found a better water source by going deeper. Finding and figuring out how to use a cable-tool percussion rig was a brilliant and remarkable solution. Overcoming the difficult challenges of using that antique piece of equipment was outstanding! Congratulations on the accomplishment.

I just had another thought - if you could pump air down a high pressure hose to where the sand is then the rising bubbles of air would stir the sand up. Perhaps if the air hose was inside another slightly larger diameter pipe the expanding bubbles could bring the sand up in the space between the air hose and the outer pipe - spewing it out above ground for you and eventually exposing the top of your drill so you can get a grip on it.

Congratulations on the success of this epic undertaking and I love your new shirt, abundance is one of my favourite things. If we're to have a sustainable future it will probably require a healthy environment and a healthy society and, if we can reach that point, it will probably be the most abundant and prosperous era our species has ever known. The alternative is unsustainable which is, by definition, terminal.
I think it's highly possible we'll get there because the vast amount of people everywhere are fine, decent people who would rather get on with each other. There are only a relative few people who make a ton of money out of us not getting on and they're the ones currently running things. Fortunately more and more people are cottoning on to that and the survival instinct in us humans is formidable.
Peace is an existential essential and peace is more than just 'no war', it's also economically smarter.
Thanks for taking us on the ride.

If you were to attempt another retrieval effort it would need to involve the retrieval tool amended with a way to move the sand.
It would be helpful to get an idea how much sand has collapsed on top of the bit end.
You may want to rig up some kind of suction device in the retrieval tool like an airlift (an airlift is a way to move water up by means or air bubbles moving up dragging the water up with it). It would need to be able to suck the sand of the top of the drill bit to a distance up enough to keep it suspended in the lower part of the well so the top end of the bit can be accessed and be "chinese finger trapped" onto...
For an air lift to work at depth (ar actually at water depth) you would need a powerful compressor and a length of larger (a 1 inch maybe) compressor hose and a industrial sized aeration stone at the end of it fitted inside the retrieval tool so it can create the suction down below.
Please contact me on the email address in my profile if you like to debate my idea...

an airlift seems like a good idea, so does the "muleshoe" mentioned earlier.
      I hope something works.

@@alanhat5252 I think if you were to make a tool which is custom for the lower part of the well and take advantage of the cracks you may be able to airlift the sand away from the bottom of the well and move it into the cracks (at least temporary) for you to be able to latch onto the end of the drill bit "stack"...
The tool would consist of a piece of pipe which you can lower down. It would be slightly longer then the distance between the top of the drill stack and the first cracked area with holes to the side of the pipe where the sand can be ejected sideways into the cracked area(s). The tool would lift the sand by means of the airlift principle.
You could even have part of the pipe act as a pressure vessel which you can pressurize up top in which case you would not need a compressor and a very long strong line to reach the bottom. You would need to find a way to trigger the airlift either by time delay or a "button" much like the one present on the bottom of a bailer...
You would need to do some calculations on how much pressure the water is at on the bottom which pressure you need to be able to get into the pressure vessel in the tool (and then some) to be able to get a strong enough airlift going...
You would probably see some of the sand fall back down into the well but eventually you would be able to clean out the sand and deposit it in the area where the cracked area.
what is also very interesting to know if the cracked areas show some kind of water flow laterally (maybe the cracks form passages to other primary water pockets or are part of a larger system which has some water moving through it. If that is the case the sand would be taken away if you were to offer it at the cracked area...

Just saw there was a new video posted. I really missed seeing you all!! And it was sweet to get to see Gary still in the beginning of the video. It will be so strange going forward without him. We will all miss him along with you. 💜💜💜 it’s a blessing you have so much video footage of him over the years. He’s never too far away when you can just pull up a video and see and hear him again. I’m sure he’s still watching over you all.
So glad the well came through! Bryson’s talents never cease to amaze me. Definitely his father son!

I don't think magnets that strong are available & if they are they would stick to everything & be pretty much impossible to detach.

Great episode, love the old driller and equipment save/recovery.
Might require renting an industrial compressor but the only "off the cuff" idea that springs to mind is a hollow centre tube with cone or cups welded upside down to it smaller than the bore hole diameter. At the bottom of the hollow tube four or so angled outlet ports/pipe stubs to spread the air blowing debris up a few feet and allowing it to settle into the inverted cone/cup section to be withdrawn and emptied until drill too is visible again.
    Happy Fishing 🎣
Edit to add, rather than an air compressor, perhaps feed water from a pressure washer top side to the "jetting head". Screw in jet heads can be bought for the pressure washers and could easily be adapted to a designed head for blowing debris out.
Same technique as jetting blocked drains and a drain clearing company might be a solution...

A quote that has helped me get through my own grief of loss, " One is never truly dead until the memory of that person is shared by none." In that, your father as well as your family, will never die. A millennium from now, your progeny will watch and share life with you. Tonight, through your tears, you can be with him, building your little homestead.
