I work on the apt on Saturday at Crewe Heritage Centre we lifted the front up to see the buffers and managed to pull and turn one buffer but as u can imagine everything is basically seized so lots of wd40 😂
London Flareon 火のキティ Not really, was more made up by the press of the time after they had too much to drink. After re-introduction in the mid 80s it was said to be firm and smooth, although the Government no longer had confidence in it (since they wanted to privatise British Rail anyway) so scrapped it
He was talking bout in-game, not real life. Though it's hard to differentiate (if you haven't heard about the matter) a comment talking bout the real life or the game. Edit: Now that I've seen the video, so yes it still shakes on curves but maybe because he's zoomed out so the shake doesn't seem as violent as it use to in other vids.
In game it definitely does, especially on routes it wasn't designed for when you're at a higher speed limit (from CAPT) than when at normal speed limits
While in your steam library, right click on train sim and choose properties, while in the 'general' tab click on 'set launch options' and paste in -SetFOV=85
The Pendolino has gone up to 145mph, but that is still 10mph slower than the APT’s design speed and 17mph slower than it’s record speed. Also, the Pendolino has a max design speed of 140mph, whilst the APT has a design speed of 155mph
If you use Train Simulator as a base to test reality's performance, then the TGV A150 (was it? Can't remember) surely can go upto 600km/h. Go watch a vid on it someone had created.
For the APT project. There was an APT-E which tests the tilting mechanisms, then there's this APT-P which tests the operability (which failed at first) and there was gonna be APT-S which is the production-service model. If I'm not mistaken the APT-S was gonna be similar to Intercity 225 in design.
It was such a sleek looking train too, had so much potential :(
would be amazing if it ran today, so sleek, so beautiful, too bad they did too many innovations all at once
The APT got up to 143mph in service on the public launch service from Glasgow-London, it got special dispensation as was 6 minutes late from Preston,
Please don't take this too seriously...
footage of a drivers eye view on High Speed 2 (2034,Colourised,Renationalised)

He said don't take this seriously you dipshit.
You clearly can't notice jokes.
2:11 OMG its my epic APT joke... Really don't get your hopes up!!
This is by far my favourite section of track in England!

Did u now... 😂
U know who i am dont u rocko
Wtf are you on@@jonlatham5301
32:20 but the trees plant the them selves by nuts usually and the trees their are all older than that track.
This cab is 10000x better than any BREL train cab.
370 vs 390 race
vs Eurostar on HS1 or ECML
there is an apt e the e is for experimental
Foxybill 05 I don't think so
There is definitely no official dlc off steam
I was talking irl
Foxybill 05 indeed you are correct
@@Foxybill05 currently preserved at the NRM in Shildon
That train tilts that’s pretty cool
I heard that the APT shook violently on curves...

What happened to that train that held up the APT outside Carlisle? Did it take off or something and become a plane?
No.
iTs cAlLeD a JoKe. I know it wouldn’t take off because that’s not how physics works, I’m not that stupid. Just trying to be funny. :/
Yeh ik.
GT3 drags an apt I would love to see that or a class 43 dragging the apt
Will dovetail games ever release the apt-e?
I'd be excited if they ever did!
Moleman978 well they do have the physical APT to work with so could be a possibility
It is possible but i might never happen due to reasons the punlic cannot know
How do u get ur camera so zoomed out in the cab cus it only lets me a curtain amount
While in your steam library, right click on train sim and choose properties, while in the 'general' tab click on 'set launch options' and paste in -SetFOV=85
Moleman978 thnx
When is the next stream?
U need to do London to York in this with 155mph speed limits and see how long it takes lol
Is it weird that part of me wants a miniature train sim? Like those found in parks and funfairs?
Nope, so do I! I think it'd be great to see such a thing represented.
that is the same flange as the class 450/444
Which is better, tilt or super elevation?
"The train That Never Came"
ted poo that train only Were used in Service was the 80’S
a time when my mum was a child
So a southern service
Could I have a link to website that had all the proposal drawings for the APT? I'm not quite sure what to search.
Does the APT require over head wires to run as it has a generator
The generator is used for air conditioning and other interior use
I can't wait for the ATP-P-T-APT-A-A-P-Name
That Joke about liverys It would be Funny if you expected a 321 For your commute on NSE And a APT turns up to be your commute
Class 43 or class 370
So he dose know about this rout...
These are very cool trains that were ruined by the media. Wouldve loved to ride these 🙂
I fully don’t understand why the apt isn’t used in service
People complained of nausea because the train tilted up to 9 degrees
Why your channel page not working.
As far as I can tell, every single channel has the same issue
OK it's working now anyway.
The pendolino class 390 can do 160 mph with 9 car consist i have tested it in train simulator 2018.
Just because you can do it in TS doesn't make it realistic in the real world.
The Pendolino has gone up to 145mph, but that is still 10mph slower than the APT’s design speed and 17mph slower than it’s record speed. Also, the Pendolino has a max design speed of 140mph, whilst the APT has a design speed of 155mph

bencody3 Er, yes it has, and it reached 145mph. What defines a ‘proper’ speed run then? Because it has, and it reached 145mph
Bring on the banterrrr
i have actually got a model of this one of apts
im pretty sure model of them are rare so :P
Imagine the tilting when you're multi-track drifting
YOU ARE CRINGE PAST ME
APT = advanced pooping techniques
It did do well but 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
How the hell do you get such good FPS?
clearly a prototype,but what for?

If you like to hear more about APT-P Find out here th-cam.com/video/oSMSSdL2yeo/w-d-xo.html
