Thank you for the closeup video of the hand crank sewing machines! I collected old machines years ago and most are still hiding in closets and the garage. Carole, your cake was a work of art! And the bedroom…..I cannot wait to see it when you have both finished it. I loved seeing the antiques shop and the lovely, sunny day you had. We have 14” of snow already and it is 11 deg, F tonight. 🥶❄️Winter arrived 12 hours after I hedge trimmed the last bush but before I had a chance to clean out my flower beds. the hose I was draining down the side of the driveway is now frozen to the ground until next spring. I also do not expect any children for Halloween because of our icy, snow-covered steep streets and my even steeper driveway. ☹️ I am disappointed about that. Have a wonderful week and a great vlog as always. 🎉🎃🍁🧡

Your mom is so lovely and delightful. Happy birthday! I love the way the 8 fell off the wall, as in "not applicable" to such a vibrant person! The cake was a masterpiece.
I like the idea of the border framing the bedroom wallpaper but think the scroll corners blend too much with the wallpaper. The plain trim might look better, less fussy in a small room. The scrolls on the ceiling might be a nice detail or might visually lower the ceiling too much.
After spending a few years upsizing your decorating to fit the scale of a chateaux it must be a challenge to be going smaller again. I still remember when you bought the chandelier for the dining room thinking it was gorgeous but WAY too big - then you hung it and it was perfectly sized to the room.
That cake is beautiful! So many talents.

The drapes are beautiful and fresh looking. You probably don't care but i think you should bring in the wall moldings to frame around the bed just a little wider than the bed, not the whole wall like a headboard but tall.
