What a masterful dive into Vecna's lore! The seamless blend of history, magic, and dark ambition made every moment gripping. The depth of character development and the vivid world-building are genuinely awe-inspiring!
Incredible video. The music, the images, the pacing, and the writing felt great. It really felt as if i was told an ancient story and it had a great vibe to it. Nice tone of voice to fall asleep to as well
Some of my favorite TH-camrs started out reading their scripts like it was a speed reading world championship, and you're already well on your way to mastering tone and cadence? Yes. Mas por favor! More please!
There's a historic reason for that. Back in the day TH-cam videos were limited in length, and the way the algorithm worked was based on watch time. So to keep people engaged on the platform, a TH-cam style was created where every pause in speech was edited out. This kept the length of the video down and all the cuts kept the viewers engaged. It became just the style of a TH-cam video, to the point that even after they opened up the video length to longer than 10 minutes the style stuck and now that's how people make their TH-cam videos sound because the audience on TH-cam has been trained to respond to.
Just stumbled onto this video out of boredom, stayed for the entire video. Must say, you did a great job with this very cool story bud! New subscriber and looking forward to listening to other videos about D&D characters or whatever universe this guy was from.
I’m a little put off at the start of every chapter when it’s dated with the Dale Reckoning calendar from The Forgotten Realms when Vecna’s history is mostly on Oerth. 🤷🏼♂️
Is this new Vecna lore? It's nothing like I've read from Greyhawk Vecna lore. Everything I've ever read of Vecna speak of the Hand and Eye surviving the betrayal of Kas and Vecna's disappearance, not of them being artifacts while still attached to his person. Further, his deification only came after many, many centuries of undeath and struggle, not from a top down, institution of government-decreed worship.
Excellent breakdown of the lore - Who was D&D's earliest/first lich? We know Vecna to be the most infamous of them but who was the first to pave his path?
Is there any chance of having the script? Some parts are laid out really nicely and i would use some parts to describe the lore. If not, all good, i already subbed and like 😊
Waaaay too many ads and nothing more than jumping on the trend since there's a new module out involving Vecna and nothing talked about that hasn't been talked about hundreds of times already over the past 45+ years that Vecna has existed. Hard pass.

This is perfection. The writing, the pacing, the art and music. This channel is gonna take off!
IT is truly great. I am sending it to my players.
Well done, sir. This is, from what I can see, the 4th vid on the channel, and it rivals those who have been in the game for years. Bravo.
I love long lore videos like this. Thank you.
My brother created an entire Necromancer line based on Vecna. Many thanks for the video, very cool.
Where is there a sky in a perpetual eclipse on Oerth?
A 45+ min lore video about Vecna, awsome. Thanks man.

Are we not mentioning the age Vecna spent trapped in Ravenloft?
I bet not many saw that.
There are too many people writing history. It gets jumbled up.
Very, Very Cool. 😎🖤🖤🖤
Nice video. Cool images. Dramatic reading, but not annoying.
I subscribed
Greatly done, i hope to see a lot of growth from this channel.
Great
Very well performed. Hope for more. Have my subscription, sir.
This is actually the same kind of thing I want to do for TH-cam. Really enjoyed listening to this while I was driving, thanks for the vid.

Only thing is he didnt have the eye or hand till after the betrayal.
I can honestly see why stranger things decided to make vecna who he is now after watching this they do relate in some very similar ways
