This is the first of 3 builds with the new The Sims 4: For Rent Expansion Pack. We build a couple of traditional Thai "inspired" apartments with all the new build & buy items!

I feel like Beryl from the block would love being a landlady so bad... she would be a nightmare to every single tenant except for the one young student who'd keep up with her and the cat and I think this would be such a great miniseries or honestly an epiosode to see. I miss Beryl and your more vibrant/ less privileged characters. I hope to see more of them in future let's builds. Love this build and the aesthetics of the pack!

In Thailand, Shrine should be face the other way of the house 😂 Thai people believe that shrine is for protecting people in the house from outside ghost or spirits but if shrine facing the house means they’re protecting something haunted inside the house not to go outside scare the h out of anyone 🤣🤣🤣 love your build btw been subscribing for yearsss 😍
Small blocks of tightly packed in apartments are pretty much the norm in SEA cities, especially older ones, so the small lot sizes make sense for me. In the context of SEA where even the smallest block gets divided further by zigzagging alleyways, im fine with the small lot sizes we're getting although 12 lots sound better.
Tomarang takes on old small town vibes where things have been there for centuries and I love that. Remind me of where my dad and his family from.

Would so love to be able to teleport myself to London on the 7th. I'm a hugger too! I adore your videos and whole vibe. I also agree that the lot sizes are a real downer. Love the tiles! So nice to have an opportunity to go a bit more wild with colour. Funny thing to say but thank you for including the floor plan screenshots, so many sim TH-camrs don’t include them and my brain always gets so muddled trying to understand exactly how it fits together and it drives me nutty! Love love love this build. Also, for anyone who doesnt know, it is looking to me like alot of the build/buy stuff are more indonesian/malaysian inspired rather than Thai inspired. I know they said it's SEA inspired so im sure there will be items from other cultures than Indonesian/Malaysian, but from the doors, the spandrels, the trims and everything, it is looking very indonesian/malaysian to me and i LOVE IT

Just watched Gryphi’s preview of all the new content …and now your speed build…I am so looking forward to building with these lovely new items!! I started a build of townhouses today (recreating a block in my neighborhood) and I see so many things that will be absolutely perfect (even for Victorian architecture). Can’t wait!

Is it just me or does the new world have brighter lighting than other worlds? Not a bad thing, I just noticed different shadows and stuff. The new items and build stuff is so great!

I did want at best 1 big lot, but i dont mind the small ones. I normally make multiple units apartments even on the smaller lots (for years). So this is no different than usual.

hi devon this is awesome as someone in there 50s i hate the highpitched ultraa hyper creator particularly couple being in my words not there true selves , im really really up for this new pack esp its day after my 58th bday aqnd will be getiing new avatar game as well , can u build say a row of mews and have each he mews rented as im in sarf london i see lots of mews

Consider you can have 6 apartments with 8 sims in each on one lot. 9 lots isn't really that small imo.

There are plenty beautiful new stuff in this expansion pack, but I was not happy at all with them reusing the greenery from Island Living and making us pay for the same thing two times.

Hey have you seen lilsimsies review of this pack?. If you watch it she thinks all the builds are done by the Ea team. No simmers have built any of these. You should go to her channel and let her know you’ve built some of the houses in the new world
Your comment about the lot sizes made me think that with this pack I might finally find a way to build something good on the huge downtown lots of Get famous.
