There are two kind of gaming headsets: warm/brassy for casual gamers, bright for competitive gamers. The price is actually very good, and they do look good too, I was looking at the Epos GSP 600 before this, I think I like those mroe for the bass, but these certainly look better.

The mic is good but if there is a fan directly blowing air in the mic, it overwhelms the mic. (No AC in my room, RIP, also maybe I don't have the best settings in ROG Armoury) kinda prefer the Virtuoso more, the fan noise is less significant there.
Are these top heavy like the corsair voids....??. Where u cant make sudden head movement or the headset falls off...
Ordered the same pair because of this review partly, and because I wanted them already... Hope I am pleased when they arrive.

Wait .. the in-game footage has the audio from the headset mic? I was searching for a sample, but after You say You'll try it ... i can't hear much difference to the other parts of the video .. am I missing sth?

Cant use the mick on My ps4
This headset has great audio quality and mic quality, however I have had to return the first pair I received since the left RGB light would not turn on. I received a second pair, and about 2 weeks later, the left light dies on me. I am also having issues with the mic in party chats where my friends say that I "sound far away" when my mic volume is all the way up on everything possible. I also can barely hear myself in game clips I take. The Armoury Crate software is having issues letting me access the RGB part of the headset. I've looked it up and apparently lots of people are having the same issues. Just something to keep in mind before purchasing this headset. Super unfortunate since it is so beautiful, but I sadly have to return my second pair too. BTW I am on PC and have tried to restart, shut down then turn on again and plug the USB connector into different USB ports on my PC and none have fixed my problem.
Thanks for the heads up. Was considering getting this for the holidays, probably will get the Razer Blackshark Pro instead. Thanks once again!
Apparently there's a patch you need to download for the headset that fixes all these problems.
I've had the same problem its the headset it self I've had asus troubleshoot them over the phone and they came to the conclusion that I'd have to send them in for asus to fix them
Wait wat. So while you were playing it was actually the headset's mic that recorded your voice? I didn't even notice lol it was so clear. Are you sure you switched the microphone? Didn't you record your voice with the mic on your chest? lol How is this possible that the Rog Delta mic is so damn good and the Delta S Animate is so bad? :/ Jeuss Asus...
