I love how bombastic this song is, with my favorite parts being the part with the birds chirping at about 1:45, that whole middle section with the guitar, the buildup from 2:39-2:54, and then the crescendo right after. Like, Weather Channel music didn't have to try this hard, but I'm glad they did.
Holy hell that guitar solo at 1:46. The birds chirping, heavy synth strings, absolute ear euphoria. Sounds like something out of Lorenzen's Soil in Earthworm Jim 2.
They looped them one after another, didn’t matter what the weather was. But you likely only remember this because that’s the only reason you watched this channel
this one scares me, I live in northwest alabama. remind me of the April 27, 2011 storms. I looked on radar seeing all these storms over the northern half of the state while this was playing. for some reason this song fits that day
Same man. I am american but we live in germany. I am 15 now. My grandfather lived outside of Pittsburgh PA. I really miss the time. I came to his house to watch the wheaterchannel. I really miss him. He passed away in 2013. But the memories will stay forever
Ah, this brings me back to when i was a little 10 year old, i actually used to eat popcorn while watching weatherscan, i'd hum along to the music too, i actually put this on my tv when i want to sleep. Thanks!
Wow! Always my opinion the greatest of all weatherscan music. All weatherscan music are great in there own way, this track has so many musical changes, written thought, and theory, its like a composition! It is also just amazing to listen too! Not to mention the emotional value as well with the changing chord structure... sorry musician speaking...
I’ve been listening to this song on TH-cam for about a year now, and all I have to say is thank you. I used to love weatherscan when the 2017 hurricanes came, I was literally obsessed with the music so much that it drove my parents insane. Listening to this gives me nostalgia, and I’m so thankful for someone uploading it. Also, I do know that they used to play some instrumental versions of songs by a band known as “Phish” during hurricanes sometimes. This song however, is the greatest. #bringbackweatherscan
Ik I’m ultra late to the comment, but weatherscan is still alive. Just type the name in google and it’ll show up. Sadly no full screen option, but aye its still alive and breathing
This takes me back to the days of being a kid in Orlando and watching the Weatherscan Channel. (I used to be obsessed with weather. Really scared cause of the hurricanes in 2004) This was easily my favorite track and THE ONLY reason I watched that channel. Haven't heard this song in YEARS, so happy to find it!
Reminds me of Memorial Day Thursday in 2013. It was warm 85F and severe thunderstorms. The next day we took a camping trip and it was 40s and windy. Stupid Dumb Cold Front xD.
I have been thinking about this song for the past 15 years and today I finally found it because I stumbled across a vaporwave Weather Channel video. Thank god for the internet.
ok, but the weather channel is hilarious for making these kinds of songs for significant weather events. like you're about to fight a tornado or something. (ok but it's not hilarious when you're about to be caught in one lol.)
I know if I had tried this, it would have been too much work for me, and I can't even watch weatherscan unless I go over to my grandparent's, so thank you so much for actually taking the time to do this! :) You, sir, get a subscribe!
@@waqarchughtai440 this is random but the band Shy's 2011 self titled album is the same way with an anime feel, check out the song "Pray". they were an 80s British album oriented rock band that apparently got to Japan, the Bubblegum Crisis song "Wasurenaide" is pretty much their song "When the Love is Over". Fun facts. Cheers
1:45 - 2:34 always reminds me of how hard I struggled to get back up after being knocked out with 2 quick flash punches from my ex friend that's my age🇺🇸🇬🇧🤕
That's because they only made the song and privately for Weatherscan. It is real but it's just a private artist. There's no way you can find the song except if you listen to this. The song name is "Horizon Thunderstorms" but the artist name is just private.
I remember there was a tropical storm and everyone was downstairs watching this when the power went out and all we could hear was the rain bands pushing our house and we saw the trees swaying
When Verizon Fios still had the weather channel and weatherscan. I would wait for this song to come on so I could listen to it. This song belongs in a video game. It would would be a great song for Super Smash Brothers.
Your local forecast... A hurricane warning is in effect for your area. A tornado watch is in effect for your area. A flash flood watch is in effect for your area. For tonight. Rain heavy at times. High 84. Winds east-north east at over 150 miles per hour. Nine or ten inches of rain expected.

Don't think it goes back that far (like me) but this is classic new age, jazz fusion sound from the '80's. I love it.
Finally I found this one 😭😭 when I was a teen I always thought of this track as a cut song from one of the Dragonball Z Budokai games
Same bro same

hello
"A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for our area"
This sounds like something you would hear in a Sonic game.
I always though it sounded like Mega Man X at 3:20.
I feel you man, Sonic is the first thing I thought of haha
It definitely gives me a Sonic CD US soundtrack vibe. Or maybe a bit of Sonic R too.
sirleibl1 I thought it was like sonic adventure.
Nah this sounds too early to mid 90's, Sonic Adventure had more heavier stuff. It also gives me a retro RPG vibe now that I think of it. xD
My Favorite Song From The Soundtrack.(like If You Agree.)

Listening to this at night in the summer of 2014
Reminds me at a beautiful coastal city

I definitely agree. As a kid, I would always wait for this song to come on Weatherscan on Comcast TV.
Out of all the tracks that played on the weather channel growing up in the mid-late 2000s, this song is one that I remember the most.
Amazing - thought I'd die of old age before I found this!
whoever composed this went off...omg best track by far !!!
This guy/band should be scoring movie soundtracks.
The most overdramatic weather music ever lol, especially at 2:55.
Look up the 2006 severe weather theme. It's like a JRPG boss battle
My favorite Weather Channel song ever. I call it Dynamic Day.

I forgot I was listening to TWC music for a second adn thought I was just listening to one of my weird prog metal albums again.
