Galadriel is the last of the pure Noldor who came from Valinor, bathed in the light of the two trees, even older than the sun and the moon. Those of her generation were very powerful. The weakest could fight a balrog only perhaps until he won.
thats just straight up false. Balrogs are Maiar, the same as Sauron, Saruman and Gandalf. Only the most powerfull Noldor were able to fight Balrogs such as Fingolfin or Fingol.
@@deusvult6164 If i recall anybody that killed a Balrog, died with it. Galadriel, with her elven ring could challenge and kill a balrog, but probably die with it in battle. Just my opinion, she is Finarfins daughter

@@thecpt6265 Sauron, even without the One Ring, is a Maia an immortal being of immense power far beyond the abilities of any Noldor, dwarves, or other inhabitants of Middle-earth. The idea that he could be easily defeated or "victimized" by a small group, like Galadriel, Elrond, or Saruman, is completely contrary to Tolkien’s vision. Galadriel alone would never be able to hold her ground against Sauron, even with her significant power. The Nazgûl, especially the Witch-king, are also shown as much weaker than they actually are in Tolkien's work. Saruman, despite being one of the most powerful wizards, would have little chance against the combined might of the Nazgûl and their leader. The Witch-king is a being of unimaginable strength, capable of instilling fear even in the greatest of Middle-earth's heroes, and these portrayals fail to grasp the immense threat he posed. These scenes undermine the true power dynamics of Tolkien's world, where Sauron and his servants were near-unstoppable forces of evil.
Galadriel herself is not as "strong" but she's rather "powerful" (sry i don't know if i use the word correctly). "Strong" refer to the strength and skill in combat while a "Powerful" person can do things that's most other people cannot. Clearly the current Galadriel no longer swinging sword like Elrond but she can crush an Orc with just a single swing of her hand. Both 'strong" and "powerful" are two different scale to measure someone in LOTR that we should know
Galadriel never swung a sword. She is a powerful sorceress, comparable to Saruman here, not a warrior. Her power was not in swords, but in the use of energies and words, since she was trained by Melian. A Maia as powerful as Sauron in the First Age. Being a warrior and adventurer is something Rings Of Power got wrong with her very badly. This fight is the one of two fights she ever took direct action in, and in both times, she was like this. Not like Elrond is here.
galadriel is truly powerful. if only gandalf use his true power instead of democracy to help the people of middle earth... gandalf is on par with balrogs and a same being as sauron. an istari
i'll never forget seeing Elrond and Saruman in combat in the theaters. It was amazing, godly

I always point to this scene of why Galadriel doesn't need a sword.
If you try and stop me, I will destroy you

Saruman : Leave sauron to me
Sauron : seriously my friend?
When Galadriel shows up barefoot, but then you realize she never actually needed shoes, because she's that damn old and powerful.
I felt like Charles Xavier listening to this
Elrond and Saruman are beast level fighters x
Gandalf sees Sauron scene!
I was literally shaking when Saruman and Elrond showed up and the fight begun in the theaters

What a load of bs
Imagine Feanor (instead of galadriel) in possession of all three simarials vs sauron in dagoldor 1 on 1. Sauron would have been obliterated.🧐
It is not completely unknown what the capacity of 1 Silmarill is, now imagine 3, even Morgoth himself wanted them for himself.
Sauron matched Finrod felagund one-on-one and then won. Feanor could defeat him but not obliterate
3 rings vs sauron

Gandalf is indeed an istari which means wizard, but he's a Maiar, a spirit just like Sauron and the Balrogs are.
If i recall they were forbidden to use their full pontential unless they were fighting equal being (balrog, sauron, wrairths)
Savron reisin yanındayız😅
