It's not as cold as many places this far north most of the time. Just dark.
It is a nightmare. Not being about to go outside without the air hurting your face and fingers and toes.

I could not survive. I come from Colchester, Ontario, and I think the coldest I've ever felt was only -15 or -20, and even that is so rare.

I can confirm that with the windchill downtown it was -50 but out by 5 mile it was -52 without the windchill
