Hi there! i've just sucscribed to your channel after hearing about you from my daughter. You met her and her friends in Korčula yesterday. You are visiting my favourite places..Thanks for your films they bring back happy memories. Cheers James.
Really liked your Korcula Videos. definitley going to check out Bili Bok Beach. If you are still on Hvar definitly check out Jelsa and Vrboska, beautiful quaint villages and great beaches scattered around :) Safe Travels
Thanks so much! We saw Jelsa for only a short time but didn't make it to Vrboska, though I hear it's lovely. And absolutely check out Bili Bok, we went back there a few days ago because we couldn't leave Croatia without another visit. Such a stunning place. Thanks so much for watching!
Jelsa and Vrboska are also beautiful, differently paced than Hvar Town... both churches you showed are the Cathedrals of Hvar and Stari Grad... the franciscan monastery in Hvar Town, by the waterfront is also beautiful, rich in history and with a small museum.
Hi , small historical correction . The Turks never attacked that town , turkey did not even exist back then. I’m sure you meant the Ottoman Empire. Not the same thing
That island is crazy expensive like seriously better go to some other place if you're unaware of this and don't wanna end up getting ripped off. Peace...
Your video is very onforming re town Hvar, but re town Stari Grad presentation is very poor. There are many historical attraction about Stari Grad, like the oldest city in Croatia, the highest number of academics per capita, the first croatian realistic poet Petar Hektorović and his XVI heritage "Tvrdalj" etc.
Hey guys, been watching all your croatia stuff… you guys rock, stellar production too!! Headed to croatia in 10 days. Spending a good amount of time in split, and I’m curious about a lot of things but I’ll ask this for now- looks like hvar isn’t too far from bol. Do you guys recommend doing bol (specifically zlatni rat we are trying to see) and hvar in same day? Would that be tough to do?
Doing both in one day is going to be difficult. Hvar town is on the opposite coast of the island from Bol and the easiest sailing point to it would be from Jelsa. I believe it is a 2 hour bus ride from Hvar to Jelsa and then trying to time a ferry. Unfortunately, ferry schedules are not multiples per day even on Jadrolinija. If you have the time I would dedicate a full day to each one. Much easier schedule wise and you won't feel so rushed to pack so much in. Good Luck, @milkybalance342
Wow! Watched all of the videos, and hungry for more...safe travels guys! 🌹🌞

Hi! You're not wrong, Hvar is expensive. We're finding that all of southern coastal Dalmatia is certainly not as well priced as it used to be.

There are many historical attraction about Stari Grad, like the oldest city in Croatia, the highest number of academics per capita, the first croatian realistic poet Petar Hektorović and his XVI heritage "Tvrdalj" etc.
Correction: the sentence "...XVI heritage..." should read "...XVI century heritage..."
