  • I usually don't put up whole seminars, but felt like it this time. If you want to see more full-length seminars & classes, go to my Patreon.
    In this recent seminar at Griffonrawl Combat Sports in Mentor, Ohio, I was asked to show some guard passing, back takes & leg locks within one seminar. I figured the best way to make efficient use of the time was to combine those elements into connected sequences that included all elements. I had a great time at this seminar. Possibly one of my favorites ever.

      Hi Eli I'm just a 4 stripe white belt that's been training for a year. You're helping me be very annoying to the cocky higher belts at my gym. For that I am eternally grateful sir. 🙏

      I think that being a green belt and 4 yrs into Okinawin goju ryu, has helped me somewhat with some cross-over skills Eli

    I believe this is the quote.
    “You should not have a favourite weapon. To become over-familiar with one weapon is as much a fault as not knowing it sufficiently well.”
    ― Miyamoto Musashi, The Book of Five Rings

    So what is the quote about weapon?

    • @KnightJiuJitsu
      @KnightJiuJitsu  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      “You should not have any special fondness for a particular weapon, or anything else, for that matter. Too much is the same as not enough. Without imitating anyone else, you should have as much weaponry as suits you.”
