Curious about blueberries in a barrel here in Missouri. I would need to research cold tolerance for the root ball. Low of 1 degree today and I live in a pretty windy area.
Bigger yield would be great when s*it hit the fan and you could no longer buy in groceries. Then preparing for winter preserving your fruit in jars would be a good idea.
Hi, my name is naJohnson I live southern California high desert. We-have backyard, garden and fruit trees, like , apricot peach, nectarine, plum and apples. My question is my tree kept dying from bore Beatles I don’t know what to do trees die every 2 to 3 years we have to replants, every couple of years, What should I do differently please help thank you
A good book i found was Ann Ralph's "Grow a Little Fruit Tree". She mentions Dave Wilson Nursery a lot, which is how I got to this video. She has a lot of detailed pictures and diagrams for pruning and spacing small fruit trees for BYOCs.
must disagree with Tom on one thing. If you find a volunteer fig seedling, don't kill it...............buy a named variety from a Dave Wilson Nursery retailer and graft it onto the seeding. You're welcome Tom.
Sure this is a GREAT Vid with Tons of Great info!!But I only made it a few minutes....Sounds like Tom was 39 yards away and the main presence was shuffling Sniffling and Coughing! Very Loud and Annoying!!!
I love your show I saw you on the backyard orchard thank you for what you do to educate us
Love this series. The info on blueberries in containers is very helpful, about 2/3 of the way through the video.
