To the Publisher of this video, we want to say THANKS!!!! We purchased a filing cabinet at an auction with one of these combination locks and it came with the combo numbers. Trouble is, after a year and a half (yep, 18 months) of trying to open it, going back and forth to the auctioneer that sold it, finding the original owner, having them TELL us how to open it, trying again, we could NOT open it! We want to sell it and make a profit, so without being able to open it, no chance of that. THANKS to watching YOUR video, WE DID IT! Never thought we would be so excited to just open an empty filing cabinet. Our daughter thought we won the lottery when we started hollering. hahaha. THESE are not easy if you don't know the RIGHT turns, OR should I say LEFT.... haha.... THANKS again! GREAT Video! :)
Your a life saver. My brother and I have spent hours trying to get my dad's safe open with the combination, with my dad possibly on his deathbed. Thank you so much.
We don't open our safe very often. A locksmith told us that the linkage gets sticky on our model, which is similar to the one you are using. It is cold and won't open. I will try either a hair dryer or a heating pad to see if it will free up. You make it very simple, thanks.
I have had to look up this video every single time in need to get into my safe 😆. I use traditional combination locks everyday so I forget this sequence
how can i identify the model of a S&G safe lock? it doesn't have the change index linex, it just have the one at the top and it looks older than this one of the video
Can you Manipulate the lock open? I've always been interested in lock manipulation by hand and or amps...I love that guy who opens great big bank vaults just by touch....there are videos but I'm not sure of the names. Peace n Tanks J
Thanks for posting this video... i like this method because i can get to my safe faster... question is.. do you cause any damage to the lock by using this method ? does it case the same wear and tear as the one recommended by manufacturer ? just curious... again thanks for posting such valuable information. My lock is a 6741 and this works really well....
J Rams...Thank you for the positive comment, I almost didn't make this video. I learned this trick from an OLD Master Locksmith that worked with bank vaults. He showed 100's of people in the banking industry this technique and would say no it does not cause more wear and tear. What does cause more wear and tear is fast jerking dialing. Have a great and glad you liked the vid.
Yeh I've seen some pretty decent stuff on ebay. Just thought of run it passed you first. You should look for them, not knowing where they are is a shame mate.
It's been so many years...make sure your square with the dial. The 100 part doesn't sound right, I would just turn right until it opens. I would call the customer support and find out if it's 3 wheel or 4 wheel...if it's 3 wheel then follow the video. If it's a four wheel then add one to all the turns.

Thanks Craig...make sure when you dial your looking straight down on the dial it can be easy to mis align the numbers as that can cause problems.
Once again hahaha. I had to re-visit your video for instructions. Cheers!

I just got my gunsafe yesterday. Still can't open it. I'll try this out . Hope it works
Good luck! If it doesn't work you may want to contact the gun safe manufacture and find out what brand of safe lock your dealing with.
@@JMLockpicking i got it open 🤘🏼😎🇺🇸
Congrats Andrew...glad it worked out. I used to show most of my customers the bunny rabbit method.

Your Welcome
Jm, do you still have any portable dails around? I'd consider buying one or trading..
Thanks for watching...I don't know where they are, eBay is a good source. Or you can make your own from just a safe lock. EBay a good place to start.
